Question: Is boat ready to go? How soon can it be loaded? (12/17/2008)

Response: Boat can be ready in the next day or 2. Seller will motor it to Salt Creek Marine (less than 1 hr away--she's laying in the next cove to the south).
She'll need mast unstepped and packed--you decide where you want it to ride--on your trailer or on the boat deck.
need a price and when you could be at the haulout.
thanks, Jim (12/17/2008)

Response: Is boat on its own trailer(as indicated) or do you need to load it onto a transport trailer. I have a trailer, and could load as soon as Thursday, 12/18, deliver Friday, 12/19. Cracker Boy will unload Friday O.K., but on Saturday, only until 11:00 a.m., and with a required appointment. (12/17/2008)

Response: Sorry, I misunderstood--I changed the listing, I need a trailer. Do you handle the Crackerboy appointment?
Thanks, Jim (12/17/2008)

Response: I see the changes, and yes, I will handle the appointment. It all depends on when I get loaded. (12/17/2008)

Question: I'm in wpb ,willing to go and come back with your trailer, you can come for the ride (full day)I have a F250HD .My time plus expense.HOW MUCH will you pay?Can do asap. Thanks (12/17/2008)

Response: I misunderstood--I need a trailer. $ 850 best price so far, but don't need special wrapping.
thanks, Jim (12/17/2008)

Question: I see you added "NO TRAILER" in the heading. Is that the only change? If so, let me know, and I will bid. If this is that URGENT, we have to get moving. (12/17/2008)

Response: yep, no, trailer. 4.5' draft, full keel. not urgent, don't know why Uship posted that, but sooner is better than later
Thanks, Jim (12/17/2008)

Response: Hi Jim, if you're still there. As of now, mine is the only "active" bid you have. But I am going to have to cancell it. If you want ME to do the job for you, I have to get ready, and leave now to be at Salt Creek Marine, tomorrow. Sorry we couldn't do business with you. Since you're not in a big hurry, just keep waiting, the bids will get lower. (12/17/2008)

Response: First time booking a tranport.
The boat will be hauled out tomorrow (thursday) mid-day--so I guess I jumped the gun! trying to co-ordinate seller, marina, riggers, and transport.
She could go out Friday, if you want to re-open a bid.
Thanks, Jim

Response: Thanks for the reply, but there are too many things that have to go just right, to load on Friday, and unload Saturday. Not to mention the unload appointment. If things get even a little delayed, the transporter has to wait until Monday to unload. That extra delay could cost you more money to the transporter. You would be better off to wait until Monday to load, and have a Tuesday delivery. (12/17/2008)

Response: You're right, it's cutting it close--Crackerboys does off-load Saturday until noon if you have an apointment. Last appointment is at 11AM.
I will change my listing and add Monday and Tuesday.
Thanks for the help, Jim (12/17/2008)

Response: You are welcome, and thank you, good luck. (12/17/2008)
