Question: Hello. I'll be honest, I am unfamiliar with the workings of either peice of equipment. I will be leaving Detroit for Birmingham 5/27 and have a 16' car hauler with 83" clearance between the fenders. Of the two, the Brillion looks like the only one I may be able to haul. Will there be help to disasemble and load? Hope I can help.

Response: Unit will be disassembled. Unit will be loaded and unloaded for you. I will check the measurements when I go in the office tomorrow. To be honest I would like to try and ship both together.
Cheers (5/18/2008)

Response: I understand. I'll need to know by 5/21. Depending on how my other shipment works out, I may not have my trailer with me unless I know you need me to do your shipment. Just let me know. Thanks (5/18/2008)

Response: Please note. The Zip code is 36752 Lowndesbro, AL. Is this too far out of your way? (5/19/2008)

Response: Hmm. I thought it was ending in Birmingham. I will actually be ending my trip in Cullman, AL 35055. Lowndesboro is another 340 miles round trip south from Cullman. I can still get it there, but it may not be as cost efficient for you especially with me only abel to carry the one item. Does it look like it will even fit the trailer? This may all be moot... Thanks (5/19/2008)

Response: I am sorry about that. I received some misinformation. I was going to say that the customer would probably be happy to collect it from Culman, but it seems as though item may be too big for you, as I went and remeasured this morning. (5/19/2008)

Response: Pick up in Cullman would be great if it will fit. So I assume the "tow bar" can be removed? Then what are the measurements for the main part? Looking at the pic, how tall is it from ground to top of red bar? How wide is it? Can it be taken apart at the middle? (5/19/2008)

Response: Basically the unit will disassemple. The tongue and wheels will come off and the new measurements are 16' wide/long x 3' x 3'. Weight about 1500Lbs. We can bundle the whole unit up and place it on your trailer. Give me a price of what it would be to Culman and I will have a chat with the customer to see if he will pick it up from there. Cheers (5/19/2008)

Response: If we can meet in Cullman I can do it for $450. There is a place across the street from my office that has a big forklift who may be willing to swap it between trailers. Let me know and I will ask them. I can probably take it all the way for another $200 if neccessary. Maybe the pic is decieving me, but it looks like it will lay down on the trailer with the wheels on if it is not over 82" tall (or wide once it is laid down). (5/19/2008)

Response: It looks as though we may be able to put something together to Lowndesboro for the $650.
What date did you want to pick up the unit from Monroe?
As I mentioned we will take the tongue off. I don't think the wheels need to be taken off as it can lie down securely on your trailer.

Response: Should be leaving Tuesday 5/27 from Detroit area. 5/27 at the latest. Deliver 5/27 - 5/28. Let me know if that works and I will place my bid. Thank you. (5/19/2008)

Response: That would work out fine. Let me talk to my customer tomorrow and confirm that this is OK with him so that he can send me the payment for the unit. Once I have that confirmed I will go ahead and accept your bid.
Are you a new business? (I do not have a problem with that but I notice you have no references yet.If this works out I will ensure a glowing ref to get you going!)Cheers (5/19/2008)

Response: I just noticed I messed up my dates. I meant to say "...leaving Tuesday 5/27 from Detroit area. 5/28 at the latest. Deliver 5/28 - 5/29." In other words, delivery the day after I pick it up. To answer your question about being a new business, I am not a trucking company. I am a builder/remodelor who happens to be delivering a piece of equipment to the upper hand of MI and want to bring something with me on the way home. It has not been my intention to be deceptive. I pray that has not been the case. (5/19/2008)

Response: No you have not been deceptive at all. You have to make the job pay these days. Those dates are fine as I can get my man to pay me for the unit. The check will then be here before end of week. I will confirm tonight with you that I have done the deal and that we can go ahead.
Cheers (5/20/2008)

Response: Sounds good. I will go ahead and place my bid so if everything is a go on your end you can just accept it. Thanks. (5/20/2008)

Response: No problem. I should know by about 5.00PM today if I have gotr a deal with my man. (5/20/2008)

Question: I'd work with you 100% on times and dates of when I'd be there,, pickup and dropoff. It looks like I'll start my driving this Saturday morning,,and would be at your place in the time it takes to get there from Detroit.
(5/21/2008)

Response: Sorry for the delay in contacting you. The customer who is supposed to be buying this has been messing me about and I have not received his money yet. If there are any further developments I will let you know. For the moment if you have any other shipping opportunities I would take them. Thank you for your interest (5/22/2008)

Response: Thanks for the reply... and I'm sorry to hear that your customer has not been honorable or prompt. Craig. (5/23/2008)

Response: Thanks, sorry about that, it is on/off at the moment. (5/24/2008)
