Questions for this shipment:

Question: Hello, I will be in Ohio the end of this month and will be coming back to my home in Oregon. I wouldn't be able to deliver until the first week of February. Let me know if this would work for you. Thanks, Greg (1/9/2007)
Response: Greg. That would definately be a possiblity. Getting it here in February would be a factor in gilt selection, purchase prices, etc. This is an FFA project for my 15-year-old and her savings is limited. $500 is what we have already been quoted and thus why she wanted me to try Uship. I would be interested to know more about your shipping qualifications. She was hoping her gilt could hitch a ride with a few other (healthy) stock to cheapen her rates. If you can let us know what your bid is then we will make final negotiations with the seller and get right back to you. Thanks for your inquiry. (1/9/2007)
Question: Hello again. My bid would have to be $500.00. I have an 8X28 trailer with feed doors, I use portable panels to seperate animals when needed. I mainly haul registered dairy cattle for A.I. companies throughout the U.S. I have never hauled a pig to be honest with you, but will do what ever is needed . My niece and nephew raise pigs for 4-H , so I have been around them. I know that the pig will need lots of bedding because of the cold weather and always have water in a pig waterer available. Will the seller provide feed so she stays on the same diet? Possibly some antibiotics given before shipping to help with stess and the cold weather. My trailer is enclosed with plexiglass to keep out the snow and rain and the trailer will be dissinfected after I unload my West to East load. Your pig would ride with(but in seperate compartment) 3 young registered jersey bulls and 3 large semen tanks. I can give you references if you like. If you have any more questions please let me know.gr (1/9/2007)
Response: I will contact the seller this afternoon and will be back in touch ASAP. Thank you for your inquiry. Where abouts in Oregon? (1/9/2007)
Question: Hello. I live in Beaver, about 14 miles south of Tillamook. greg (1/9/2007)
Response: I'm still waiting to hear Greg. Will get back to you ASAP. (1/11/2007)
