Response: Sorry, the boat weighs 2,650 lbs. The boat does have a trailer, but we'd prefer not to take it down to FL with our trailer, as we have no place to store it once we're there. (2/21/2006)
Question: Shipper I can make this haul for you for $1400 on your trailer. If youi dont want the trailer on the other end I can help you sell it and store it till its sold. Response: I do not have a place to store the trailer once it is in Florida. That is why I've indicated I'd prefer to only have the boat taken to FL. I suppose another option would be to sell or store the trailer once the boat gets to its destination. (2/22/2006)
Question: I am delivering a trailer in Eastern WY late next week, and looking for a load that will get me to FLorida. I have DOT operating authority with commercial and cargo insurances. With this in mind, the distance involved is about 1383 miles. I would tow your boat on it's trailer for $1175. this is about $.85 a loaded mile, and well below the industry standard. I can only bid this figure because it is right on my way to Florida, and I have need to get to Florida immediately after my drop. If this sonds acceptable to you, I will place a formal bid. Response: I'd like you to place a formal bid. I also have some questions for you. What date would you be in Carter Lake (right next to Omaha) to pick up the boat? What date would you arrive in FL? I'd need you to drop the boat off at the marina and the trailer off at another destination (a storage place close by). Would that work? (2/22/2006)
Question: Hello shipper, Ilive just outside orlando. I really need to get home! My home load bailed out and left me hanging with no way home. I am heading to the North West now to drop a load. Response: I will check with my marina tomorrow to see if they can sit it on your trailer. Do we need to get some sort of cradle? Also, I'll make sure they'll be there for pick up on Saturday, March 4. I know it can be picked up on Friday, March 3, as it is ready to go now. I'm just not sure they'll be open Saturday.
