Questions for this shipment:
Question:
is the height correct 12' ? i can pick up within 2 days & deliver 3to4 days. trailer must have current tag on it. cost is 2500. plus uship 7.9 fee if this will work 4/u let know so i can bid, thanks (4/17/2007)
Response:
12 ft height is on the high side I believe. I had the owner measure from the ground to the top of the radar unit which sitds on top of a hardtop [136 inches]. I can have the dealer where this is at re-measure if need be. I had this exact boat minus the radar which adds probably 8 inches so I'm sure there will be no height issues. Send Bid. I will be checking feedback ect. Your time frames work for me. (4/17/2007)
Question:
also, I would deliver within 3-5 days after pickup. I would pick the boat up, and driver straight to the delivery location, no other deliveries in between.Thank you (4/17/2007)
Response:
What are your payment reqirements? I will have full coverage insurance on the boat. What type of coverage do you have while shipping? (4/17/2007)
Question:
I prefer to have 50 percent on pickup and the other half on delivery but I can work with you on that if its a problem. I prefer cash or cashiers check. I have full value protection coverage, what this is if something were to happen, your boat would be covered for the full replacement value. Thanks again. If you accept my bid, we can work out all the details , I have no hidden fees, and the price I bid will have no add ons. Thank you (4/17/2007)
Response:
I've never had a need for this type of service so I'm not up on how the payment thing works, but I'm sure it will work out. I will contact the dealer and get some advice from him. Either way I will need to send the deposit to him and he can hand it to the shipper. It will be in the form of a cashiers ck. I will pay the rest in cash if preferred upon delivery. I will be back in touch tommorrow. Thanks (4/17/2007)
Question:
If you would like, go ahead and accept my bid and uship will give you my phone number. Feel free to give me a call if you would like (4/17/2007)
Question:
Hi Quervo here. My bid is below, I can pick up your boat this Friday if you are ready to roll. I have been to Sacremento a few times. The ride down the mountains on I-80 from Reno gets interesting. Steve. (4/18/2007)
Response:
Steve, I'm looking at 2 other bids besides yours. Trying to see what works the best for me. This is all new to me so I'm struggling with it a little bit. How does the payment for shipping work? I would have to get money to the place where the boat is at I'm assuming. Also how do I find out about your license status, insurance status ect and get comfortable with all that. I just want to feel good about this shipment. Are you close to the pick up point? Anything you can tell me would help. Also I pretty much live right at the bottom of the grade coming down from Reno. We're at 1500 ft elevation I have traveled up and down that road many many times. Chuck (4/18/2007)
Question:
I can pickup on this friday and deliver it on sunday or monday. I tow with a 2006 chevy crew cab HD or I also have a 1994 chevy 3/4 ton. Thank you I hope to earn your business (4/18/2007)
Response:
If I was to accept this bid My plan would be to send a check to the place where the boat is to give to the hauler when picked up. If I accept your bid does uship get us in contact right away? Do you put a contract together stating all terms and conditions of this shipment. Also how do I verify your license status, insurance status and anything else that has to do with the proper shipping criteria that goes along with this kind of transaction? Once I have Accepted your bid and I'm not satisfied with the above do we just retract the acceptance and put it back on the uship site? I,m not looking for a way out. I am actually pretty easy to deal with but I haven't needed this service before and want to make sure everything is covered.Let me know on these items. Thanks (4/18/2007)
Question:
Yes, We will be in contact right away. I will get your phone number right away, and you will get mine. I will leave a copy of my licence, and my insurance documents with the marine when I pickup the boat so you have them. If your not happy with the aggrements after you accept my bid we can retract the match if you would like but I dont see that happening. That is one of the reasons they have the feedback system so you can read peoples comments about the shipper so you know if your dealing with a real shipper or a fly-by-night company. Thank You hope to hear from you soon (4/18/2007)
Response:
I just called the boat place to let them know that you could get this boat on Fri. I also discussed getting a check to them for you, which I would have to fedex tommorrow. The soonest fedex would get there is 10am or noon on Fri. The boat co. will be receiving my final payment for the boat tommorrow and said they would release it upon receipt of same. So barring any fedex shipping snafu's everything should work out in time. I don't have a problem sending 50% to the point of origin. Hopefully all these time frames will work. How does all this sound to you? (4/18/2007)
Question:
Everything sounds great. Thank you for your business and I will be talking to you soon (4/18/2007)
Question:
Im ready to go if you are? (4/18/2007)
