Question: Could Blu leave on the 31st? Have to go up to Palomino Valley for a pickup then on back down to Vegas and over to Santa Barbara. Would that work for you? (10/21/2009)

Response: That would work fine.
What sort of transportation is it? We have a problem keeping her in kennels; she can escape from anything. She loves being in vehicles, though.
Thank you (10/21/2009)

Response: Blu would ride inside the cab with us. The only time we really put a dog in the kennel is when we stay at a hotel for the night. We would be spending the night with family in Las Vegas before heading over to the Santa Barbara area. Couple of things that we do ask are - Please provide a harness and leash, secondly pleasr provide a nametag for the dog with the contact phone number for safety. (10/21/2009)

Response: That's great.
What kind of kennel would you keep her in, if needed?
How much would you charge?
Thanks (10/22/2009)

Response: Does Blu get along with other dogs? Also how is she around horses? I am asking this because at the house is a huge dog run with 6 foot high chain link fence all around or I have two types of kennels to put her in. I is a heavy crate that is the stardard used for shipping and the other is a wire crate. With the crate, it is bought inside the house for the night. When we are traveling, we always bring in the crate at night at the motels. (10/22/2009)

Response: Blu gets along very well, with other dogs; she has always backed away from dogs that are aggressive towards her.
I've never really seen her around horses but she likes to play with every animal.
She never tries to get out of crates, as long as she is by us when she is in one. If we leave her in a separate room or leave the house, she always gets out at night.
She has gotten through chain link fences, under wood fences, wire crates, regular crates and has even figured out how to open the latch of our big outdoor kennel, with a lock on it; we have had to add a bike lock to go around the posts, so that she can't wiggle the door open. (10/22/2009)

Response: Would you mind meeting us in Winnemucca either late Friday, Oct 30 or early Saturday, Oct 31. We are heading up to Palomino Valley to pick up some livestock and heading back down toward Las Vegas so we can get an early start on Sunday going toward Santa Barbara. Would that work for you and Blu? (10/22/2009)

Response: How late on Friday and how early on Saturday are you thinking?
Can you give me your pricing?
Thank you (10/23/2009)

Response: If you are willing to meet, I could do it for around $225. (10/26/2009)

Response: That would be great; what forms of payment do you accept?
I just need to know what times you were thinking, for Friday night or Saturday morning; I have to plan around my work schedule.
Thanks,
Crystal (10/26/2009)

Response: I will be able to let you know by Wed morning. Waiting to hear from the guy at the farm in the area. (10/27/2009)

Question: Crystal, let us know if you would like us to rebid. We could possibly meet early afternoon on Sat on our way back south since we will not have our grandson with us. (10/30/2009)

Response: I wouldn't be able to meet you in Battle Mountain unless it is before noon. I'm not comfortable accepting unless I have a scheduled time, to meet; I have to be at work on time.
Crystal (10/30/2009)

Response: Okay: If this will work, let me know, and I'll re-bid. We can depart LV Friday morning, and spend the night in Battle Mtn. You can meet us Sat morning at our motel at whatever time is convenient for you, although the earlier, the better. Once we get Blu, we'll depart for Lake Pyramid to continue with our pick-ups. Our daughter got her work days changed, so she's now off on Sat, so her son can stay home, make his Sat afternoon baseball game, and go trick-or-treating Sat night. We no longer have to be home by 6pm Sat night. Will this work? (10/30/2009)

Response: Saturday morning will work for me.
Thanks,
Crystal (10/30/2009)

Response: Glad to hear that this will work for you. As soon as we know when you have booked, then we can give you the name of the hotel. (10/30/2009)

Response: Okay. I don't know if I will have time to get her a harness between now and then. Will her choke chain be okay? That is what she is trained on and used to. She would just try to drag you in a harness, anyway.
Crystal (10/30/2009)

Response: Crystal, with what Blu has will be fine since it is a short trip. (10/30/2009)

Response: That will work. We need you to please accept the bid ASAP (bid expires at 2pm this afternoon), so we can have each other's contact info. Our "travel" contact info is not the same as what is in the u-ship contact data, and we're about ready to depart. Once we're on the road, we won't have access to a computer until AFTER we get in to the motel tonight. I'm glad that we are able to work out the meeting arrangements. :o)
