Question: Hi I see you have received quite a few very high bids, we might be able to help each other if you can be more flexible on your dates. I will have a 24' box truck going from Lakeland FL to NJ to buy more furniture for resale the first week of March and I need to fill up for the trip up north to make it economically worth the trip. My propersition to you I can pick the bedroom set up the weekend of Feb 23rd and deliver it to you by March 8th. To keep my prices down I do work alone so I would need some help loading and unloading, all of your pieces would be blanket and shrink wrapped to protect them as well as strapped down so they don't bounce around. If this interests you I can do the job for $465 please check my profile and if this works let me know and I will place my formal bid. Thanks for your consideration Dave (2/6/2008)
Response: Hi Dave, I can be flexible with my delivery date except that the delivery point is 4 hours from where I live.Delivery mid week would be very inconvenient-I would have to take off work. I was looking for a weekend delivery or a Friday or Monday. I gather from your question that you are willing to help load and unload. I received a quote from UPS of $324 which includes insurance and they will quarantee delivery for February 18. If you can do better on your price we may be able to work something out - if you can delivery on a day that is convenient. The furniture can be picked up anytime as long as I give the individual a day or so notice. The furniture is boxed so I am not sure it would need to be shrink wrapped.Thanks Cindy (2/6/2008)
