Questions for this shipment:

Question: Can we change out the bearings? If so we can tow for 1300.00, that is including the new bearings. (3/3/2009)
Response: I have not had a chance to see the trailer in person, so I don't know if it is just the bearings or it needs more work. I'll see what I can find out, guy at the marina mentioned that the spindels might be rusted out. (3/3/2009)
Response: Sounds good, I can work on her this weekend. I do all the repairs on our trailers(lights, bearings, axles, bunks, brakes etc...) (3/3/2009)
Response: Talked with the marina, said that the trailer needs new spindles and looks like new tires. How close are you from the address of the marina in middle river? I don't want to send you over there to fix 4 bearings and then it turns out to be a hell of a job. (3/3/2009)
Response: New spindles are not a good thing. That is a major fix, tires and bearings are easy, but trying to find the correct spindles for her would be almost impossiable. I have never seen a rusted out spindle, maybe surface rust, but not rust so bad that spindle can not be used. Tires would be no issue, walmart usually has the tires/rims. We are from Florida, but are dropping a boat off in Maryland this weekend. (3/3/2009)
Response: apparently the trailer hasn't seen a lic of service or TLC in 9 years and will need it if its going more that 20 miles without the wheels falling off. The guy at the marina said he had to shear a lug nut off just to get one of the wheels off. For 1300, I would be all over it to get it towed down, but I think it needs to be on a flatbed to get down here. (3/3/2009)
Response: I truly understand. (3/3/2009)
Response: Thanks for your offer, damn neglectful trailer owners making it difficult. (3/3/2009)
Response: Yeah, they do make it rough on the new owners. Good luck, enjoy your new boat. (3/3/2009)
Question: If the boat is going from marina to marina will the boat and trailer be lifted onto and off of our tractor-trailer? Thanks. Allison-Lockview Marina. (3/3/2009)
Response: Talked to both marinas and both said no lift. The trailer is able to roll and could be loaded on a flat bed by winching it up a ramp. (3/3/2009)
Response: OK, thanks. But I cannot load or unload without a lift. (3/3/2009)
Question: Hi, I may be interested, are the dimensions and weight accurate? Does the length include trailer? Can the height be lower with the bimini top down? Getting close to max height on my trailer. Are you on receiving end to help? Thanks (3/3/2009)
Response: I got the width and length demensions from a website. They do not include the trailer (I would add 3 ft to the length). The bimini top comes down, I have a picture with my buddy standing next to it while its in the yard, looks like it could be closer to the 7 ft height (with the bimini top down). I know the weight would be less that 5,000 lbs. I will be there on the recieving end. (3/3/2009)
Response: Hi, thanks for quick response. Would there be a little help at pickup to help guide front while being winched up ramps? Also is this inboard, inboard/outboard or out board? Need to know because rear will be lowered while coming up ramp, have done with many but sometimes lots of boards under wheels are required to raise rear. How soon do you want this done and what are the hours at the marina? Thanks (3/3/2009)
Response: There will be help on both ends. It is an out board. The marina is open mon-sat 0900-1800 (6pm) EST. I spoke to the guy today and he told me to give him a few days heads up to get it out of storage, as far as I am concerned, as soon as its ready to go, I'll take it! (3/3/2009)
Response: Hi, OK I'll map it tomorrow and give you a price but then would need to know asap. Just so you know, in hopes you read the U ship recommendations, I am a legal owner/operator with valid Motor Carrier and USDOT numbers and required COMMERCIAL liability and cargo insurance and can provide insurance agents number upon acceptance, to verify. I'm from southern MD, there is abt 10 marinas there, some not so reputable, I assume there would be some type of paperwork or receipt for proof (Bill of Lading) while transporting? Thanks (3/3/2009)
Response: From what I have known, this one is not on the good marina list. The Boats title will be with the boat. I am buying from a buddy who kept the boat at the marina for storage, he lives nearby and can drop off the title when you need it. Would there be anything else you would need to legally transport it? (3/3/2009)
Response: Hi, no that should do it. Do you know if all 4 tires have at least some air in them? Will your buddy be there to maybe help a little if the marina won't? Thanks and will be back with you tomorrow, will you be on line late morning? (3/3/2009)
Response: sorry about the late reply, I work 1800-0200 at night. All 4 tires will roll. My buddy will be going out of town on Friday morning and will not be back until sunday. I can talk to the guys at the marina to make sure they will help out. I will be up around 11 AM EST and checking for the quote. Thanks (3/4/2009)
Response: Hi, submitted bid but would need to know asap. Hope to do business, please review feedback and as U ship recommends (read uship fine print), VERIFY! For your liability and property protection. Thanks (3/4/2009)
Question: I can get your boat this week. For me to haul the boat I would need lifts or a boat ramp. I would put your boat on my trailer on your trailer on my racks. If your trailer is good for ten or so miles maybe we could take it to a marina with lifts or a boat ramp. I would do this for $1800. (3/3/2009)
Response: I'll see if I can find out about nearby Marinas that could be used. I'm not on the pickup end so I would need to coordinate with a buddy to get the boat towed over to the nearby marina. (3/4/2009)
Response: I could drop tow the boat locally. I would not need any help with that. I would just need to know which method you preffered (lifts or boat ramp). (3/4/2009)
