Additional Information: Baxter is a lovable dog, but can be very nervous around strangers; especially those wearing anything on their head (ie, caps, sunglasses, etc.) as I think he was abused by a previous owner. I would prefer a cargo flight for his quick transportation since I will muzzle him (for everyone's safety). He's been known to get car sick, so I don't know if there will be travel meds involved. My family and I are desperate to have him home. We are now stationed in Maryland and at the time of our initial move it was not beneficial for Baxter to be here. The house is not the same without him and we've been missing him terribly. Unfortunately Baxter's actual tags are in Maryland with me, but I will gladly get the vets office to fax a copy of his current vaccinations and clean bill of health if needed. Thank you. Response: I don't forsee a problem in that. But my husband and I have a few questions. How much would you charge? How long would a trip like that usually take you? What do I need to provide you with? And do I need to purchase a kennel or do you provide that? 8/13/2008Not in Violation
Response: : To answer some questions: I would charge 425. The trip will take 3 to 4 days. I say this because you never know what you will run into on the road. I would need from you food, leash. health record and water bowl. Also any toys Baxter likes to play with. I have a kennel, but if Baxter would rather ride on the seat that is fine with me. Response: That is FABULOUS. I will arranged things with my mother to get his health records in order. He's up-to-date on his shots, but his record is in Maryland with me. He gets car sick on most "journies" so I'll see if I can't get some medicine to you as well. I will contact my mother with all of your requirements.
