Question: Can you remove the legs for shipping? Just about any kind of transport is going to stress the legs unless it is laid on it's side. OHDEFI (9/23/2008)

Response: Yes. The legs are usually easily removed from the outside by unscrewing 2 bolts on each leg, however it may be difficult to hold it up and sit down when removing the legs. I believe the best way is to remove the head (the part that sticks up the highest. This is the heavy part (about 200 lbs.) this can be done in abut 15 minutes by unplugging the Jones plugs and removing 4 bolts. Be sure to hold the head in place when removing the bolts because with the back door open the head will try to fall off. The owner knows how to do this and will assist you. The body (bottom part) then is not heavy and there will not be much stress on the legs. This is also the best way to have the machine when it arrives at the destination because the head can be put on a hand truck and moved wherever needed. The body is then easily moved by 2 men. Please advise if you have any other questions.

Response: I'm could pass right by you on my way to Louisiana and I have room but I'm not comfortable that it would be stable enough. Good Luck. It looks wonderful!! OHDEFI (9/23/2008)

Response: Take the head off. The owner knows how. In two parts it will be plenty stable. Let me know if you are interested. Can explain further. (9/23/2008)

Response: If someone will help load and secure it, I will be going thru there later this evening. I can deliver it tomorrow afternoon. How far off the Interstate is it (in Bristol)? OHDEFI (9/24/2008)

Response: How far off Interstate 81, in Bristol, is the pick up address? And how far off I 20 in Jackson is the delivery address? OHDEFI (9/24/2008)

Response: The owner in Bristol will not be available today for pick-up. Can pick up Friday afternon about this time or later. Location is about 2 miles off Interstate 81. Machine is loaded on a trailer and owner is willing to meet at a nearby spot if a definite time can be arranged. The delivery location is Benton, MS. Hwy. 16 intersects I-55 about 45 miles North of Jackson. Benton is about 15 miles West of I-55 on Hwy. 16. (9/24/2008)

Response: It sounds as if it's less than 100 miles off my route. I'm sorry though, I'll be in Bristol by tonight. I could wait until early tomorrow morning, but not later. I could do it for $200. Good luck. OHDEFI (9/24/2008)
