Response: It will fit in bed of pick up if you can tie it down. It has four d rings on smoker for tie down set up. It can not lay flat has to be upright position. Needs to be covered for to protect against weather. prefer to have it shipped in covered trailer and blanket wrapped. (11/1/2009)

Response: Dale, Were you would pick up the smoker they do not blanket wrap. I just need it protected from the weather and not to get scratched.What shippers have done in past is wrap with a moving blanket and if in open trailer than a tarp over the moving blanket.
