Question: Hello - would the shipper (or originating location) be willing to place & secure item to a suitable pallet / skid so as to be acceptable for transport by common carrier service? ... THX (6/5/2009)
Response: I am talking to the shipper about this. We will be able to get in on a pallet and get it strapped to it. There will still need to be a dolly or pallet jack to move the unit out to the truck, and the truck will need a liftgate as there is no forklift available. Response: understand and as per uShip rules, bid rated all inclusive per posting info: “Business to Business” with liftgate service for pick-up ... Shipper (consignor) to load palletized item onto liftgate & Consignee to unload same from back of truck ... Do you have any questions or require rate and/or service clarification?? ...
