Question: I see you have updated this shipment. Whats the story? Is boat ready to go again? Still? (6/14/2009)

Response: Boat was for sale in TX, could not sell for the price wanted. It now needs to get back to FL. Let me know what your transporting cost will be. (6/15/2009)

Response: Hello again. Here's what I can do...I'm in the Austin area now. I can place a bid for about $2200.00. If you accept my bid, I will know where the boat is, and can go to Seabrook this weekend, and do some measuring on the boat, to see just what will be required to get it down to a legal height. Then I will be there to transport it next week for you. If this sounds O.K. with you, let me know, I'll see what I can work out. (6/17/2009)

Question: We are in Seabrook now. Your listing states you are at a facility with NO forklift, etc - what is planned method of loading vessel onto a trailer? Thank you. (6/15/2009)

Response: We will have it hauled out and put on a trailer at the Marina... I think Seabrook Marina. (6/15/2009)

Response: Great! If BAHA can load now/this week and can lift off our trailer in Florida we'll submit a bid. Please confirm. (6/15/2009)

Response: Could it be the end of the week? (6/16/2009)

Response: We've just made a delivery of a big boat in Seabrook - next appointment is in the Florida panhandle. We've taken a few days off in town and are ready to head east. We have a custom lowboy-style 53' triaxle trailer ... no need to dismantle for height issues. We will submit a bid to load later this week (sooner the better). Ck out our profile and see our equipment and credentials. jdanielmarine. (6/16/2009)

Question: Hello shipper. A few more questions. You stated the manufacteror said the boat would sit just below 13'6" on a low-boy trailer. I looked up the 340 King Cat on their website, and the boat does not look that high. Is there anyway you can get the marina where the boat is to do an actual measurement fro the bottom of the pontoon to the highest on the boat, and what is the highest point? Hardtop, radar, etc.? I don't have a low-boy trailer, but I would like to transport your boat. Thank you, hoping to hear from you soon. (6/16/2009)

Response: We could disconnect the cabin and it will then be guaranteed fit on any trailer.
If your quote is good, we don't mind the extra work to unbolt the top. (6/16/2009)

Response: O.K. depending on width of pontoons, and space between pontoons, the tires on my trailer ar 8'6" to outside, and 34" high. My bunks are adjustable, up, and back and forth, and sit at their lowest at 32" off the ground. They can be raised to fit up in between the pontoons. If the overall height can be lowered to less than 10', I can do it. What do you think? (6/16/2009)

Question: jdanielmarine here again -- what is your target price? (6/16/2009)

Response: Thanks for your info... I just received a quote for $ 2,200.00... (6/17/2009)

Response: Good price. Just 2 questions: Can you load this Thurs/Fri? If "yes" then what is your target price to do this? Thanks, jdanielmarine. (6/17/2009)

Question: Do you still need your boat transported to Florida, or have you given up? (6/21/2009)

Response: Still need the boat transported. Can not come out to TX to take the top off the boat before next week. (6/21/2009)

Response: When next week? I can meet you and help determine the necessary action. Does the top have to come off, or just the radar? If you want me to re-bid, I can. If you will accept my bid, I can go look at the boat, and possibly save you a trip to Texas. You will have to accept my bid, so you can tell me where the boat is currently located. You asked me for my advice on my last bid, and here it is. For right now, this is the simplest way to handle it. (6/21/2009)

Question: I know you are a very busy person, but a simple reply would have been appreciated. We cant help you if you wont help us. (6/21/2009)

Response: Sorry about the late reply. If you re-bid, I will place my bid acceptance. I can not make guarantees on when I can be there to remove the top and move the boat to the marina. I will try for next week. Will this work with you? The top should not need to come off with the right trailer - but of course only you can determine this. So if you re-bid, I will place my acceptance and we go from there.
(6/21/2009)

Response: I placed my bid, as requested, and it will expire early afternoon tomorrwo...But here we go again. No reply, again. I need to know because I need to make plans, and take care of some business. I have several other bids out too, and will take the first one accepted. If you want me to transport your boat, as you stated, better accept soon. (6/21/2009)

Response: Thanks for the bid. We are in a dilemma. If the top needs to come off, can you work around our schedule?
We will need a little more time then to make it to TX. The boat measures from prop to hardtop 13'6" - this excludes the radar.
We don't want to give you the runaround. But we need to make sure we are all on the same page. We are checking emails in the evenings. Sorry it takes longer to reply.
(6/21/2009)

Response: I talked to builder, Ken Nall, today. Got some important measurements. We worked things out. You and I need to communicate. (6/22/2009)

Response: What did the builder say? It is tough to communicate over uship. Do you think you can do the move and will the top need to come off in your opinion? If you feel confident that we can work this transport and work in more time for us to remove the top? Let me know and I will place the acceptance of the bid. (6/22/2009)

Response: The top will NOT have to be removed, on my trailer. Accept my bid tonight, and we can work out the time schedule. I am currently communicating with two other shippers. First come, first served. I expect atleast one acceptance tomorrow. (6/22/2009)

Response: Ok, but we still need to get it to the marina for haul-out. How much more would you charge to do this? (6/22/2009)

Response: I can't answer that. I don't know where the boat is. How far away? In the water, or on land? Where are the keys? If on land now, how will it be put into the water? Too many questions. (6/22/2009)

Question: I see you are off the web-site anyway. Good luck, and BYE. (6/22/2009)

Response: I had a long workday. I have been working all weekend. I can not email immediately any answers. I just wanted us to be on the same page. I do have to make time to come to Texas and need to be sure you are confident that you can follow through with the shipping. I do not know your schedule and this has to be worked out together. If you are not up for that, I will just have to wait for another bidder. Sorry if there was any miscommunication from my side. (6/22/2009)

Response: Thats why I did the research. To make sure my trailer would handle it. I have been hauling boats for over 30 years, and would not have bid if I couldn't have done it. I could have done it, and worked with you and your schedule, as long as it wasn't too far away, but I don't like the stalling from you. We can "get on the same page", but I have to work too. Not just sit and wait for you to make up your mind. Yes alot of miscommunication. Too bad. (6/22/2009)

Question: How soon do you want to move your boat? Going through Clear Lake later this week. (6/23/2009)

Response: Are you still up for the move? I want to be there and make sure everything goes well, this is why it is taking me so long.
I appreciate the extra research and confidence from your side. If you are still up for the move, please rebid. I will be at the computer most of the day today. (6/23/2009)

Response: Yes. I have always been up for the move. Thats why I did the research. I CAN MOVE YOUR BOAT. I will re-bid, however I an communicating with another client, as we speak. So if you want me, better decide now. Nothing else is confirmed yet. (6/23/2009)
