Questions for this shipment:

Question: What have you budgeted for this move? I may be able yo help out soon. (6/7/2006)
Response: I really don't have any idea what it would cost - I received a bid for $395.00 and felt it was a bit high - was hoping maybe for $200.00 - I am being unrealistic?? Was assuming it is being combined with other loads. What would you do it for? (6/7/2006)
Question: Well, I hauled one large painting from Seattle to Phoenix for 250. It is taking proper care of your art, and leaving space away from it to insure no damage, so you loose a bit of room, and money. But if I can secure a few more loads, I will do this for 295 plus uship fees. I live close to Orem. Let me know if that works for you. (6/7/2006)
Response: I have bubble wrap and will wrap each one individually and then try to get them in a box, so they should be ok. What are the Uship fees??? Making the total how much??? My aunt in St. Louis would be paying for it so I would have to check with her. thanks. (6/7/2006)
Question: I can prob do it for $200 plus Uship fees & u pay ins. but can only pick-up on 7/3 & deliver 7/4 I will know in a couple of days my route... Lemme know if that time will work for you. Thx (6/21/2006)
Response: The timing would work for us. I'm packing them now and planning on resubmitting with a ore accurate description - I will be adding 3 apple boxes with family photos as well as another small stack of pictures that was too big for the apple boxes. These items are my Grandmother's precious things, the art that she & my Grandfather painted. She lived with us for over 10 years and now at 90 is living with her daugher in St. Louis. I notice that you haven't shipped before throught this company so am a bit concerned - they really need to get there. Would love to work with you if you can assure me that they will get there in good condition. How much are the fees?? thanks, Kathryn (6/21/2006)
Question: I was referred to Uship a couple of weeks ago. Honestly with the high gas prices and the demands of manual labors to assist upon delivery is not worth $200. Only reason someone would do this is out of compassion. I don't know my schedule yet, check back with me if you're still interested. Thx (6/22/2006)
Response: Willing to pay a bit more for the added items to make it worth it for you. I'm hoping to finish up with it today. How would you be shipping it?? Trailer, etc? The paintings and photos would need to be handled with great care, nothing else stacked on them. I've bubblewrapped each family picture that are in the apple boxes - I bubblewrapped each large painting several times and am going to try to wrap cardboard around them for added protection. You wouldn't need other people to help with delivery - the boxes aren't heavy - the paintings are just big. There are people on this end and the other end to lend a hand if needed. It would mean alot to my Grandmother to be able to get them in the timeframe you mentioned. She needs her familar things around her. I'll add to this a bit later tonight or tomorrow. Please let me know what the uship fees are. thanks. (6/22/2006)
Question: I will be passing thru Utah on my way to Kentucky driving a empty (except for myself) all seats fold down, 06 mini suv, I am willing to pick up and deliver you grandmothers things for you if I can have assistance loading and unloading the bulkier items. I to am a grandma (45 yrs old) and know how precious memories are. I am quite new to U-ship but can supply you with many character witnesses, If this will work for you my fee would be 300.00 and the date for p/u would be the 9th. of July with delivery on the 11th. The ONLY stop I will make is at my home in Sidney Iowa to rest and then continue my trip south, so your cargo would not be left unnatended at any time except locked in my garage overnight.
