Questions for this shipment:

Question: What is you timeframe? How sure are you of the height? With escorts and permits, you will probably be in the range of $6,000. (6/4/2009)
Response: I want the boat here ASAP. I've been living in this hotel for a month. The height of the boat is from the manufactuer. I encourage you to go to [website URL removed] and look at the Aqua Lodge. Are you thinking of a water recovery or a crane? If it's a crane, is the cost of that crane covered in the $6K? If not, that's another $800. I had one company come out and try to load the boat. I had the crane out there and everything. The trailer they brought was 7 feet too short. Boat went back in the water, crane drove off with my $800 and the trailer drove off empty. I still can't figure out what they misunderstood about 43 foot houseboat with pontoons. Let me know. (6/4/2009)
Response: Can water load onto a custom 48' houseboat trailer as long as the ramp is good (long). (6/5/2009)
Response: The reamp we would use is about 50 yards away from the boat and is the same one used to deliver the boat 4 years ago. What went wrong with the last attempt to load, was that the wheel covers on the trailer detracted from the usable space. The trailer was plenty long enough, but they only had 35 feet of working space. In other words, 43 feet of pontoon won't go on 35 feet of trailer. This boat is 13 and a half feet tall and therefore has to sit pretty low from front to back. Sorry to be so emphatic, but I never expected that to be misunderstood and don't want it happening again. (6/6/2009)
Response: I always prefer more information compared to not enough. Do you know the height of the pontoons (to the bottom of the deck) and the space between them? (6/6/2009)
Response: I'll have to call the manufactuer for the exact measurments. I'll look at your website and call you with the information. I'd like for this to go as quickly as possible and I do not always have a computer available. (6/7/2009)
Question: thanks for request..too big a job for me...good luck..brad (6/9/2009)
Response: Do know anyone who might be interested in the job? (6/10/2009)
Question: can u pull the pontoons off to reduce the ht.? u sure its 14 beam....wt is 15 correct..? (6/10/2009)
Response: I wish the pontoons could come off, and that's a very interesting approach, but I really don't think they're made to come off. One of them contains the septic system for the boat. They're fiberglass, 3 feet high and 8 feet apart. I think it's going to take either a really long low boy or one of those trailers that supports the cabin structure and lets the pontoons straddle. The body of the boat is 12 wide. The only thing that makes it 14 feet is the overhang of the roof. The weight of the boat dry is 11,500. With on-board fluids and a few personal effects, I gave the generous estimate of 15,000. To see a picture of the boat, go to www.catamarancruisers.com and look at the Aqua Lodge model. If you decide not to quote the job, please feel free to recommend a company that might. Thank you for your interest and I sincerely hope we can do business. (6/10/2009)
Question: WE CAN MOVE ON THE 21ST OF JUNE IS THAT TO LATE? (6/10/2009)
Response: No, that's not too late. Please send cost and payment requirements. I'll send contact information for the marinas/boatyards involved. Is a water recovery possible? I'm having the receiving boat yard paint the bottom, so they'll have a travel lift on that end. I'm not sure about the requirements of involving uship. I'll leave that to you, [phone number removed] Please give me a call when appropriate. Thank you, you made my day. (6/10/2009)
