Questions for this shipment:

Question: Hi I will be going right past there on my way to Spokane around the 15th of August. I have a delivery half way between Spokane and Seattle,I could meet you some where East close to Seattle. Is that timeframe O.K. delivery 16th or 17th depending on what time I get in. (7/25/2005)
Response: Greetings, I have expensive rental equipment on site and need to work dawn to dark, thus the delayed response. I have a truck show and a car show on Aug 13 and 14 that I was hoping I could tow my new trailer to. Kind of a big deal for me. If it's not to be, I can live with it. Whereabouts E. of Seattle would you be? This trailer is a one-of-a-kind antique, and needs to be treated as such. What type of equip. do you intend to use? RE: Your 2nd ?: I've not seen the trailer, but it's 15' overall, and the box is 12.5'. Normally, the axle is mid-point on the box, so I'm going to guess that it's not much more than 7' from axle to back. If more precise measure is needed, I will need to contact seller. I'm not sure which direction you're coming from, but my home is 50 mi. S. of Seattle off I-5. Hope this info is what you're looking for. Regards, Dan (7/25/2005)
Question: How many feet are there between the axle and the back of the trailer? (7/25/2005)
Question: Hi I am going to Spokane. But I can Deliver it to where ever you want within reason. I am going to a Studebaker meet in Spokane the 18th and 19th. So I wont be able to deliver it until 16th or 17th. I have a 30' flat deck trailer with ramps and a winch. I will have a moc ball bolted to the trailer deck to hook it to up front, and tire bonnets, chains ect. to stabilize the back. what size ball does it take. (7/26/2005)
Response: Ah, a fellow Stude nut. I have a restored '47 1-ton pick-up and a '60 Champ, plus 10 other antique trucks. I bought the trailer to haul around behind the trucks. If you can do the job for this $, let's make a deal, and I'll met you at the Studebaker show. Should just about pay your expenses. Too bad I can't bring the Studie, but it's too far, and I'm too slow. 2" ball. Thanks. Regards, Dan..... **************** 289stude; I was hoping to get a bid from you. Maybe I insulted you with my price. I assumed you had a space to fill, and my load would be helpful, as you didn't mention your price. Please get back in touch if you think we can work something out. Thanks, Dan (7/26/2005)
Question: Hi, I can take this out there for you for $1700.00 . Let me know when. Thanks...Davey (7/28/2005)
Response: Davey, Thanks very much for your offer to transport my trailer. You're out of my price range at $1700. I'm looking for the driver who has a space to fill, or needs a backhaul. Again, thanks. Regards, Dan (7/28/2005)
Question: Hey Dan. No insult taken. I'm just working on a couple of different options, that pay a little better, and not sure how much space they are going to take up. I don't want to bid and then not be capable of coming through. As soon as I know exactly how much available spce is left I'll bid. Lets keep in touch. (7/29/2005)
Question: Hi, Would be willing to bring this out for you at $1500.00. Can do within a day or two. Thanks Davey (8/9/2005)
Response: Hi Davey, Thanks for getting in touch. I've decided if I can't get this job done for $900. or less, I'm going to go get the trailer myself. However, I'd be willing to drive some ways to meet you. I don't know what your schedule or destination is, but I'd like to be in Spokane on Aug. 17-18 for a car show, which would save you 650 mi , unless you're coming further west anyway. I do need to be home Aug. 13 & 14. Other than that, I'm open to travel. Thanks again. Regards, Dan (8/9/2005)
Question: (8/9/2005)
Question: I can take this to Olympia for $1300.00 You have to let me know by tonight otherwise I have to change my loads. Thanks Davey (8/9/2005)
Response: Davey, Sorry I've been away from the computer so long, but I couldn't help it... You're probably in bed by now. Thanks, your offer is most fair, but for me, it's pure economics. (I paid TOO much for the trailer, I'm sure you can relate...) My top $ is still $900. I figure I can go get it for less, and wouldn't mind camping my way home. BUT, I REALLY DO APPRECIATE YOUR OFFER. Thanks so much for your interest, and I hope your haul is safe and prosperous. Best Regards, Dan (8/9/2005)
Question: No problem.Thanks Davey (8/10/2005)
Response: Davey, If you want to bid on this job for $900., I would pay your uShip fees. I don't know what your circumstances are, but if you have space, and are coming this way anyway, maybe $900. is better than nothing. And I'm still willing to drive some to meet you. Many thanks, Dan (8/10/2005)
Question: Hi Dan, If I brought this to Bothell will you do this for $1100.00. Let me know as soon as possible. Thanks Davey (8/10/2005)
Response: Hi Davey, I'll accept your bid if you bring it to Olympia. But I won't be available Aug. 13 or 14, unless it's very early AM or in the evening. I can also put you up for the night, if it would save you a few $$. Thanks, Dan (8/10/2005)
Question: Hey Dan, Sounds good to me. Accept my bid and then call me and we will work it out. Thanks Davey (8/10/2005)
