Additional Information: Antique sofa 72"x37"x37". This is also a family heirloom so we expect a high level of care with this item. Rug 9'x12'. Weight of 150 is an estimate for these two items.

We will need these items to be packaged, wrapped, etc, for us.

Pickup location is a single family home with no stairs involved. Dropoff location is apartment with no elevator on third floor. Expect items to be shipped together in one move. This job would require two people to unload.

Question: keep in mind while reveiwing bids that unless the company bidding has a commercial policy, and cargo damage liability, as well as a DOT/MC number, theyre not legal to haul anything for hire, and in the event of an accident, routine pull over, or theft, you lose your property with no recourse. The carrier is also required by FEDERAL law to have a houshold movers authority to move household goods such as these, so just a normal trucking company still cant legally haul household goods without this federal authority. Just an FYI to protect you. (7/6/2006)
