Questions for this shipment:

Question: Hello-Thanks for your bid request. we frequently handle Lg. Uprights such as this. Will need to know some details on the Pu & the del. end please. Assuming 1st floor to first florr-Any gravel drives at either end? Steep slopes, or any prohibiting factors, that would NOT allow us to back up our Boxtruck to the porch area at either location? Both front door PU/del.'s ? How many steps outside, at PU point & at your end please? Any "Tight" foyers, where stairwells intersect, or other restrictions/obstacles, such as over grass, or around Entry gates etc, need to be determined in advance. We have used plywood to traverse Grass areas, & we can Cart the Piano down a slope to curb, or sidwalk as needed. These factors determine(directly) our price, as well as the safety of the Piano & ourselves while in our care. Let me know your findings please. "Toolman" (2/22/2007)
Response: There are a few outdoor steps at the the pu area. There are no known 90 degree turns or tight hallways. The piano is located on the first floor and is going to be dropped off on the first floor. All driveways are paved. There are no other known obstacles. As I said, I can do all the required moving into my home if that affects the bid price. You could drop it at my curb. (2/22/2007)
Question: Thank you! (2/22/2007)
Question: Thank you for the details. $450.00 delivered curbside. $ 50.00 addtl, if we move it inside. Thanks, "Toolman" (2/23/2007)
Response: Hi Toolman, Other offer fell through and we'd love to use you. Please be in touch! (2/26/2007)
Question: Thanks for requesting my bid but we didnt hear from you and had to hit the road. We reversed our route and are now going from Balt-Cinncinati-Chicago-Detroit-Pittsburgh and back. Originaly we were able to go your way first and pull this off but the truck left this afternoon. Sorry. (2/26/2007)
Response: Could you do it any other time soon? (2/26/2007)
Question: Sorry I wont be back in that area for 3-4 weeks. (2/26/2007)
Question: We sell antiques and mostly let other people do our deliveries. We use Toolman regularly and he lives up that way. You wont get better service if he is still in the area. I would follow up with him. MPnMD (2/26/2007)
Response: We have been waiting to hear back from Toolman. We had requested a formal bid from him and never heard back. If you have any communication with him, let us know! Thanks. (2/26/2007)
Question: Hi, we are NYC Piano Movers heading in that direction this coming Monday and Tuesday. Our price to move a piano that size is usually much higher but we can come down to $720. We do have one other possible job which would allow us to lower the price further, and I would be happy to let you know about that. Thank you, John -- PianoMover (2/28/2007)
