Response: : your paying for space. you dont want stuff stacked on it so in a 15 ft truck thats alot of empty space i cant use. larger trucks can bid less they can haul more. i cant. so i must make enough for my size truck. if i had to haul 4 of these with the same stipulations i wouldnt make enough to get home. plus trucks get 9mpg or less in gas and at $4.00 it dont go far.6/9/2011Report a Violation

Response: Thank you for your bid! I just want to be sure that you are able to transport the desk without having to put items on it. The seller of the desk has told me that there needs to be extra care taken in moving the desk in terms of the legs and that items cannot be placed on top of it. So it sounds like the desk needs to be loaded and transported on its legs...in any event I wanted to share with you the information the seller shared with me. Does this sound OK to you? Response: : I totally understand what needs to be done. I have moved many of these partners desks. I would normally wrap this with a couple of blankets then take cardboard and cover the top. I'll then flip this upside down so the feet are in the air. It will ride solely on its own deck. My rate is 350.00. I would have to load this tomorrow evening.
