Description: Beautiful Mahogany Antique Front Drop Secretary Desk combination China Cabinet Maker: Maddox Colonial, Jamestown, New York This piece does have the original paper label on it as well as the metal (Mad-Ox) Bull label This Secretary Desk is in excellent condition with no needed repairs! It measurements are: 80" Height 32" Length 16" Width Has excellent scrolling at the top which is un-damaged. There are 2 glass doors with scrolling. Inside this upper area are 2 shelves, each with a 9" clearing to display. Original brass lock and brass clip to hold opposite door latched. All in tact.

Response: Im sorry, I dont think I can get you help there in Carnation. Seller doesnt seem to want much involvement. It looks like a private house where no elevator will be needed. I can get more details from the seller when she gets in touch with me. She hasnt written me yet. I will certainly help you on my end. I always help the shipper if he wants, I tip well, and I will pay the NY tolls if that is a concern. You can place a bid and if it becomes more than you thought, up the price or cancel. Thanks. Question: Thank you for the bid request, however I no longer drive into the city limits or queens. If you can meet me outside the city limits then I would be glad to transport the item since I am only 1 hour from Plattsburg all this week and could pick up at any time. Response: I cant get to NYC with a truck. But I will pay your tolls and time to Queens. If you come in the morning, you will be going against traffic and your drive from across the bridge will be only 1/2 hour or so to the Clearview. Response: I dont see why not so long as it is well protected and placed in the supine position carefully and raised carefully. It is one piece. It should be placed on the back as the front has glass doors on the secretary. (8/27/2006)
