Would be excited to help with this shipment. What are your plans once delivered to the residence. I will provide a lift gate and pallet jack.

Response: I am bringing it to a residence -there are no stairs- I will have to take some double door frames down- prior to placement within the home. It is a straight shot into the rooms with no turns. -off the driveway. I had another thought about placing in garage. I could add alarm system out there- but wanted this for a gun safe. He has a 100% positive feedback for the few items he has handled in E-Bay. I was going to call today- but late last night, I took a fall and broke my foot -so today was spent at the ER. I have been looking and talking with a couple other E-Bayers -questioning them on some nice safes. You will be given all of my personal contact information once our quote is accepted. This includes my personal email address, office phone number, cell phone number and our physical office address. You will be given a copy of the LTL bill of lading for the prior to pick up driver's arrival. The LTL trucking pick up driver will assign a PRO tracking number at time of pick up. You will be able to track your shipment on line after PRO number is entered into the system with an estimated transit time to destination terminal. Your shipment must be packed properly to avoid damage during transit. Our quote includes your shipment on a fork lift able pallet with origin & destination both being a place of business with a dock and or fork lift or picking up at destination terminal. Hello Dodie, this is William Donohoe, owner of The Shipping Shack, Inc. You should know up front that your shipment can NOT be delivered to a residence. The reason being is that a lift gate would be needed but you can NOT put this safe on a lift gate due to the weight. A lift gate can not handle 3000 lbs of centered weight. The destination terminal and or delivery driver will REFUSE to deliver this to a residence. I know this for a fact for I have been in the shipping industry over 26 years with 19 of those years of actually loading and unloading trucks and being a driver. The delivery driver himself can not maneuver and or move this safe due to the weight alone even if you could put it on a lift gate which you can't. Why would the seller at the origin have a crane and fork lift and you would not need the same at the destination. It will tip and fall off a lift gate anyway with the weight of 3000 lbs and height. It will be stuck at the destination terminal. Trust me it can't be done.
