Question: Hello: Can you please tell me the lenght of the overhang of the ladder from the truck? I hoping to back the truck onto the lowboy with ladder toward cab to avoid permits being needed. Response: The previous owner told me 12 feet overhangs past the rear of the body. I do not know if it is possible to get it on that way because of the overhang, the front bumper to the centerline of the rear axle is 24ft 10in and the overall length from the bumper to the end of the ladder is 44 feet. Depending on the length of the trailer it shouldn't be long enough to require permits but I am not an expert there. (2/24/2009)
