Question:
1/26/2014
Hi, How will this be loaded and unloaded from a ramp door trailer? Thanks, RobertReport a Violation
Response: Not really sure what they have to load it other than a forklift. That would be the same way I would have to unload it. It could be dragged down the ramp if that would work for you. Hope that helps. Chris1/26/2014Report a Violation
Response: Hi Chris, Thanks for the reply. Does this have wheels? How is it normally moved? I have an enclosed car trailer with a low slope ramp door. Thanks, Robert1/27/2014Report a Violation
Response: Hi Robert, They made a wheel kit for them but the seller doesn't have it. They are usually moved around the jobsite with a forklift. They said they have a way to load it. I just have not asked what it is. I am assuming a forklift too. I can get it off with a forklift or a skid steer. Hope that helps. Let me know if u have any more questions. I can contact them about loading too. Maybe they have a cart of some kind. I can also use a cart. Chris Just found out that they can set it on the edge of the ramp and get it the rest of the way with a pallet jack if that works for you. I could also do it that way. Didn't think of that . Response: Hi Chris, Thanks again for your help. Could you see if they have a cart of some kind? We would need to use fork extensions in order to clear the ramp door. I don't think dragging it on the trailer would be beneficial to the trailer door! Thanks, Robert1/27/2014Report a Violation
Response: That would work. I could do $400 and pick up late this or early next week.1/27/2014Report a Violation
Response: Thanks for the interest, but I have a lower bid already. If you want to lower your offer that is totally up to you. You are the one that knows what you have to make, and I understand that. Thanks again, Chris1/28/2014Report a Violation
Response: Hi Chris, I can't really do much on the rate, maybe $25. I'm not a broker, and offer personalized service. I'm very rarely the cheapest on here. Thanks, Robert1/28/2014Report a Violation
Response: Hi Robert, Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. If you could do it for $375 I am good with that. When do you think you would pick it up and when would I see it? Thanks, Chris1/30/2014Report a Violation
Response: Hi Chris, Thanks for getting back to me. I won't have enough time this run, however, I could get up to you the last 10 days of Feb if that would work. Please let me know ASAP. If I can make it happen this run I will, however. Thanks, Robert1/30/2014Report a Violation
Response: I probably shouldn't say this but it doesn't really matter to me when I get it. Sooner would be better but I can live with the end of Feb. Was just wondering. Chris1/30/2014Report a Violation
Response: Not to worry, I won't take that for granted. Just need to combine with another load to make it cost effective. Did you want me to submit a bid? Thanks, Robert1/30/2014Report a Violation
Response: Yes please. I am kinda new to this. Only have done this once before. Fortunately everything went well. Chris 1/30/2014Report a Violation
Response: Sounds good. I'll submit now. Thanks, and I look forward to working with you. Appreciate the opportunity. Thanks, Robert1/30/2014Report a Violation
