Question: Hello. If we could pick up tommorrow or within a week when we pass back through we will do this for a total of $900. With the hill sides, feul, tolls and distance, I think this is a fair deal. If you want this picked up asap, let me know tonight and I will place the bid asap and pick up tommorrow. If you want us to do this, still accept the bid and we will pick it up after we leave Las Vegas early next week. Thanks! Andy. (2/16/2008)

Response: Hi, Andy! Thanks for replying. I'm just getting to Albuquerque tonight, so I'm not quite ready to have these things picked up - I need to get a few more items together. Sometime next week would be great, though, and if I could add a couple of nighttables and a printer table I'd pay $900 flat. Can you tell me when you'd be coming through town so I can get stuff ready? Please [phone number removed] Thanks much, Laurel (2/17/2008)

Question: Hello. The bid expires today. We are in LA right now and will head your way when we leave in 2-3 days. Thanks! Andy. (2/18/2008)

Response: This is the email I sent this morning to support@uShip.com - I haven't received a reply. "So I read the policy, and think that the deposit is held by uShip then is paid to the transporter after delivery. That doesn't appear to be the transporters understanding, and he's done business with you before. I don't want to cheat him out of $100, nor do I wish to pay $1000 for a job that was accepted at $900. Please clear this up for us. Thanks."
I haven't anyone else to do this - I'm still hoping we can work it out. I've packed everything and am making arrangements for someone to meet you at the storage facility with $300 cash on Thursday or whenever (I fly out on Wednesday). Thanks for hanging with me. (2/19/2008)

Response: (2/19/2008)

Question: Hello. We are down to the last hour. If I have to bid on this again, we will need to collect the whole amount due at pick up. Thanks! Andy. (2/21/2008)

Response: I think I'm going to have to wait on this right now, Andy. I've already left NM, my dad is out of town and my brother's wife just had a baby so he's not very available right now. I'll repost when some things are ironed out. Thank you. (2/21/2008)

Response: Ok. If the deposit is a problem, we will trust you and pick it up for you and run it to you and collect cash when we get there. But if it just can't work right now, I understand. Goodluck and thank you! Andy. (2/21/2008)

Response: Where are you, Andy? Do I need have my dad take my stuff all to storage and arrange for someone to meet you in Albuquerque with $300? (2/23/2008)

Response: Hello. After you told me that you were unable to do this, we left and headed East. I cannot do this for you know because I am so far east. I even tried to pick it up without the deposit just to get it done for you. Goodluck with your order. Thanks! Andy. (2/24/2008)

Response: Just to let you know, I replied to you several days ago, but when I didn't hear from you, I went back into our message history and that message wasn't there! In looking around here more, I see that complaint is not all that unusual - apparently some issues with the software or system or something. I will certainly be more diligent about following up with people when I don't hear from them knowing that. Sorry it didn't work out for us this time, but I appreciate your responses. Thanks. (2/24/2008)

Question: Hi, do these items still need shipping? I'm based in Santa Fe and am going to NY in the middle of March. Thanks, Rob fezziwigwhse (2/23/2008)

Response: Hi. I'm debating on whether or not to relist this shipment. Are you still coming in Mid-March? Any idea when you're coming or what your bid will be? FYI, this system doesn't always send questions and answers every time - if you don't hear from me, please ask a question or reply again. Thanks! Laurel (2/24/2008)

Response: Laurel, you're right, this system is very buggy. I'll be in the area probably around March 18 or so. Depending on the space I have, my bid will be in the $600 range. Thanks, Rob fezziwigwhse (2/25/2008)

Response: Hey, Rob - Which area around the 18th? Albuquerque or NY? I need to make arrangements for my dad or brother to meet you in NM when you know more. The dimensions I included in the bid are pretty close to true; I have the exact ones with me, but the system won't let me change them with an active bid. I didn't buy any more furniture while I was there, but I did buy some other small things that I boxed, and I still think the total of the boxed things will fit in the armoire (which is only a rod at the top, no drawers, shelves etc, which is why the other things can be transported inside.) I live at 139th and St. Nicholas, just north of Central Park - very easy to get off the freeways into and out of - no scary crowdy traffic like in downtown and whatnot. $600 will be okay - I left $300 in cash with my stuff and will give you the rest on delivery. Thanks for you bid - I hope we can work it out. Laurel (2/25/2008)

Response: I'd be in Albuquerque March 13 or 14 and NY roughly the 18th. I'll have specifics as the date approaches. Rob fezziwigwhse (2/26/2008)

Response: Are you still looking at these dates? I want to relist my bid so you can formally bid on it when you're ready. If you are unable to ship this for me, please let me know. Thanks, Laurel (3/6/2008)

Response: Laurel, yes the dates are the same. I'll contact you in a couple days to re-confirm as I get on the road. Thanks, Rob fezziwigwhse (3/7/2008)

Response: Hi, Rob -
It may be difficult for me to find someone to meet you. Please give me as much notice as you can so I can call all my friends and family about meeting you with the cash. Thanks, Laurel (3/12/2008)

Question: Also, what part of Manhattan are these items going to? Rob, fezziwigwhse (2/25/2008)

Response: Are you still planning to travel to NYC? I'm guessing we have different dates now; do you know when those are yet? Thanks, Laurel (3/17/2008)

Response: Hi, sorry about the delay, there were some changes and I'm trying to see if I can still do it. My other NY job changed dates and if I don't have more than a few items I can't go all the way up there for $600, it'll cost me almost that much in gas. I'm seeing what I can do and will let you know. Rob fezziwigwhse (3/17/2008)

Response: Rob,
Clearly the $600 only makes sense as an adjunct to another job. Has the other job been rescheduled? If it's possible for me to accomodate their schedule I'd be happy to do so.
Thanks,
Laurel (3/18/2008)

Response: There aren't exact dates yet, it may be a month or two in the future. I could let you know, but since it's not definite you might want to try to relist again. I definitely won't be going up there this trip now. I'll let you know if I hear anything else. Rob fezziwigwhse (3/18/2008)

Question: Hi, what's the status of this move? I see the auction ended. Let me know if you're going to relist it. Thanks, Rob fezziwigwhse (3/3/2008)

Response: I haven't relisted it because I'm planning to let you move my stuff! If you can't, I have to let the ad expire to relist it, because I have more details now that it won't let me add to the current listing. It seems disingenuous to relist it for bids when I'm not really looking for more. (3/3/2008)

Question: I can do this for 600 if your dates are truly flexible.Grizz (3/18/2008)

Response: I'm truly flexible, but don't want to wait forever. YOu have something coming up? Laurel (3/18/2008)

Response: pick up would be next week with roughly 10 days for delivery Grizz (3/18/2008)

Response: That would be just fine. I am have flexible work, so can be there anytime you give me notice. And I can have someone meet you in Albuquerque, but I do need advance notice of when that would be. "Sometime next week" and "about 10 days later" are great, I just need some heads up about when to have someone meet you when you know what that is. (3/18/2008)

Response: I placed my bid and will give you plenty of advanced notice Grizz (3/19/2008)

Question: Does the first week in June work for pick up? (4/20/2008)

Response: I was REALLY hoping to get this stuff sooner, but at this point early June is fine. It's all in storage, so my dad or my brother will meet you there when you pick up, and I'll meet you when you deliver. I do live on the second floor of a building with easy access (bus stop right in front), and an easy drive for a truck from the NJ Turnpike. What do you estimate is approximate delivery? I think this was listed at $400 when you inquired, but I've raised it to $600 now, and will honor that if you could help load and deliver to my apartment. I left my dad $300 cash when I left, and will pay balance on delivery if that's all right. Please let me know if you are still available for this delivery, and when the approximate dates will be. Thanks, Laurel (5/4/2008)

Response: Delivery would be within 7 days of pick up (5/4/2008)
