Questions for this shipment:
Question:
HOW WILL THIS STUFF BE LOADED AND UNLOADED? HOW MUC HROOM IS NEEDED FOR THIS UNIT? WHAT ARE THE HOURS FOR PICK UP AND DELIVEERY? THANKS FOR YOUR TIME (11/4/2009)
Response:
There is a fork lift on site to help load it. There is no loading docks so that only gets it on the truck. Ap allet jack is then needed to move it into place which most companies have on their trailers. There will be help on site to load it and accomodations can be made for pickup times Unloading will be the same Please call [phone number removed] if you have anymore questions (11/4/2009)
Question:
YOUR NUMBER WAS ERASED BY USHIP. HOW MUCH FLATBED ROOM IS NEEDED FOR THIS? IT CAN BE LOADED AND UNLOADED FROM THE SIDES. THANKS (11/4/2009)
Response:
[content removed – attempt to circumvent the site] What do you mean loading it from the side. It needs to be an enclosed trailer at least for the majority of it. An open flat trailer could haul part of it.... Thanks Ken (11/4/2009)
Response:
LOAD WITH A FORKLIFT ON THE SIDE OF A FLATBED. HOW BIG IS THIS UNIT? WILL IT BE A WIDE LOAD? I CAN HAUL UP TO 10K AND HAVE 25' AVAILABLE. (11/4/2009)
Response:
Its not a wide load at all. Its all dis assembled (11/4/2009)
Response:
SO HOW MUCH FLATBED ROOM IS NEEDED? I CAN TARP SOME TOO IF WE NEED TO. SORRY FOR ALL THE QUESTIONS THE PIC IS NOT VERY DESCRIPTIVE. (11/4/2009)
Response:
No problem I tried to leave my number but this site wont let me. An open flat trailer tarped could take the big parts but all the boxes need an enclosed trailer as there not palletized. [website URL removed] (11/4/2009)
Response:
(11/8/2009)
Response:
(11/12/2009)
Question:
good day ,I see you need a specialized carrier on this unique load, that is all We do my bid is a padded van rate with a pallet jack included, thanks William (11/4/2009)
Response:
Thanks for the added information (11/6/2009)
Question:
do you need this taken appart or will it be? (11/4/2009)
Response:
This will be disassembled but some parts are still large. Some of it is on pallets the other is just boxes Ken (11/5/2009)
Response:
my bid is a padded van rate,we just finished moving a aircraft maintance schoo from oakland ca to ark.in which it had a 707 trainer in it we had to disassimble that unit and reassanble it as well as packing the entire school 14 truckloads in all including 4 planes and 2 bell helos, thanks William (11/5/2009)
Response:
Thats very impressive. I am doing the disassembly and reinstallation so we just need some transportation for all of the items. I imagine the worst will be just unloading and loading as it may take a little time due to its electronics. i may seperate it into two shipments at differnt times Ken (11/6/2009)
Response:
thanks up to 4 hrs loading time at no cost over that its a charge of 25 hr (11/8/2009)
Response:
Thanks. Is unloading the same as well, 4 hours I think we can do it in less than this but 4 hours would be nice. Ken (11/12/2009)
Question:
What size trailer do you need and is this going to be broke down any? We have a 32'flatbed trailer and would like to work with you. Look forward to hearing from you soon. (11/5/2009)
Response:
A lot of this needs to be in a enclosed trailer as it is just boxes and spare parts. There are a couple of items that can be put on an open trailer as long as it can be covered (11/12/2009)
Response:
could them items be full tarped on bottom n top n strapped to haul. We have 32'flatbed trailer but have also moved furniture to Fl covered well n no weather damage at all. (11/12/2009)
Question:
ken are you with l 3 (11/5/2009)
Response:
I do not know what that is.... Ken (11/6/2009)
Response:
ken are you in ok or ks and what is the value of it we carry 100000.00 in our bid ,i can get it raised to 500000.00 but there is a ins surchargeover 250k to 500k,thanks William (11/6/2009)
Response:
Im not to worried about the insured value. This however is a one of a kind simulator and great care needs to be taken in shipment (11/12/2009)
Question:
What are the actual dimensions, I have a 40' flatbed. Thanks JB Truckin (11/12/2009)
Response:
Since it will be broken down the majority of it is on pallets but there are a couple of larger pieces as well I dont have any actual dimensions but will require a full size trailer more than likely (11/12/2009)
Response:
To make a intelligent bid the actual dimensions are needed. JB (11/13/2009)
Question:
What is the value on the freight (11/12/2009)
Question:
Shipper, I have a 24' enclosed trailer for the parts that need to be transported that way and whatever else we can fit it. I have pics of the unit on my profile. If I can be any help let me know. Don't live to far from pickup or delivery point. Pretty flexable on price also. Thanks (11/14/2009)
Question:
Ken , my company has air ride 53ft van trailers. I think that this could work for you. I will bid again on this load. Lawrence (11/24/2009)
Question:
i can't belive your gonna trust a simulator to the no clue what there doing idiots that permiate uship you must have a ton of insurance! i have haul many simulators and they folks i worked for where very very careful about every facet of the move not just tossing out to garbage colecters to toss around (11/27/2009)
