Questions for this shipment:

Question: Hello Shipper, I recently transported an ultralight from Jackson,Ga. to Dallas, Tx. on my 16' equipment trailor. Can do yours for 2675. If it can wait until around the 1st week of April. Let me know if this works for you so i can start making plans. Thanks, Jay (3/7/2008)
Response: Jay, If you don't feel comfortable bringing the Ultralite accross the border into the U.S from Canada I could meet you in Prince Edward Island and go with you to the border for Customs import. You would need a Birth Certificate and of course a drivers license to get back into the U.S.. Nothing needed to get into Ca. I had to call my birth state and give them my date of birth-etc. and they sent me my new Birth Cert. No passport needed. How is this for you? Please let me know your thoughts. Sincerely, Jim. (3/7/2008)
Response: Hello Jim, sorry it took so long in answering back, been driving across the mountains for the last couple of days. I can go into Canada and pick up your Ultralight. I have a good drivers lic. passport, insurance and truck titles which are required at the crossing. Calais,Me. is quite a distance from Prince Edward Island. I would probably have to deadhead from Me. to the island. As long as the paperwork is in order to get back across the U.S. I can do this for 3775. This is the best I can do. This may save you an airline ticket. If this works for you, I NEED TO KNOW ASAP SO THAT I CAN LOOK FOR TRANSPORTS TO ME. Thanks, Jay (3/8/2008)
Response: Hi Jay, Are you still in the running? I would like to give you a shot because you are the first to give me a bid in the range nessesary. Thanks, Jim. (3/10/2008)
Question: (3/7/2008)
Response: Hello Bulldogdelivery 2, I did not see a question in your responce. Are you saying yes to the 2800 price? There is a change in the pick up spot... Prince Edward Island, Canada. This is 350 miles East-Northeast from Bangor, Maine. So I would expect a higher bid if you are willing to pick up in Canada and bring through U.S. Customs and deliver in Salem, Oregon. Lowest bid is $3700 to do this. Are you interested? Sincerely, Jim. (3/9/2008)
Question: if we can pickup in the us and drop in the us we can deliver to you for 3200 please let us know your thoughts and we will help you with this move (3/7/2008)
Response: Hello OsborneTransport, Would you pick up in Prince Edward Island, Canada and bring through U.S. Customs and deliver in Salem, Oregon for 3700.? Do you have insurance or do need to buy it through uShip Cargo Ins.? Thank you for your interest. Sincerely , Jim. (3/9/2008)
Response: just let us know what we can do to help and we will (3/7/2008)
Response: Hello Osborne, I made a error in saying Bangor Maine as the pick up point. I need the plane picked up from Prince Edward Island, Canada. That is 350 miles East-NorthEast of Bangor Maine. Dave, the man I bought the airplane from will be there to help load. He will have the wings folded back and ready for transport and he will have all the paperwork for the Customs entry into the U.S. I understand the distance is farther and I expect a change in rates for the extra milage. What type of insurance do you have. I value the plane at 25K. Thanks Jim. (3/9/2008)
Response: we do not want to go through customs with it because we have had bad luck so to say we have sat at the border for 12 hours before so now we dont cross we could work out something if he could bring into the states (3/9/2008)
Response: Thank you for your answer and I understand. There is no way for delivery to the border as of now. I would have to fly to PEI and ferry it myself and there is not enough value in the plane for all that. I have been to Canada twice before with vehicles in tow from Canada and I did have to wait about a hour one time. I am sorry you had trouble. thanks for your time in answering my question. Jim. (3/10/2008)
Question: How soon do you need this delivered? I can set this in the schedule for the first week in April for 4150. Thanks (3/9/2008)
Response: Hello 29 Goodwrnch 51, Thank you for your prompt reply. Any time in April will do fine. I think there is a lot of snow there right now. You being a professional driver might not have a problem with that. I didn't when I was younger. But things are different now. But I can still fly! Does this price include Insurance? I value the plane at 25K. I will let you know tomorrow before the 12 pm ending of the listing if I can accept your bid. Thank you, jim. (3/9/2008)
Response: That would be fine. This price will include ins. Thanks Jim! (3/9/2008)
Question: if your plane can ride on my auto trailer will deliv for 3750. this price include insur, tolls & all other fees. if interested let me know & i'll bid. thanks (3/9/2008)
Response: Hello Shipforless, It has been trailered on a 16 foot car trailer. If yours has side rails the tail must be raised so the folded wings will not hit the railings. Have you read the messages from other bidders and know the pick up point has been changed to 350 miles East-Northeast of Bangor, Maine in Prince Edward Island Canada? If so then yes I am interested. Thank you, Jim. (3/9/2008)
Response: my trailer don't have rails & i can not pick up outside the USA, can u have it deliv to the US Border for me to pick up ? if so, then i'll bid (3/9/2008)
Response: I am sure you have your reason for not going into Canada and bringing the Ultralight back. I called the FAA and the U.S. Customs and Entry Customs Stations to be assured there would be no problems and I was told the same thing by all. I need a drivers license and a Legal Birth certificate and that is all that is needed to get back into the U.S. when driving in and out of Canada. Canada might ask for your drivers license but that is it. U.S. Customs needs... #1) The airplane needs to be De-registered from Canada.#2)The Canadian numbers and letters must be removed from the aircraft. #3) I must have a Canadian Bill of Sale stating that the plane is worth less than $2000. I have a friend in the FAA and he gave me the correct verbage and instructions. Maybe this can help you in your business in the future. I have 2 bids that know this is true and will pick up in P.E.I. Canada./ P.E.I is 250 miles from Calais Maine. Are you sure you will not pick up in Canada and place a bid? Thanks, Jim. (3/10/2008)
Response: my insur won't cover me outside the US. thanks & good luck with your shipment (3/10/2008)
Response: Thank you for sharing that info with me. Good Luck to you too. Jim. (3/10/2008)
Question: when do u want this pick up ? (3/9/2008)
Response: Anytime from now through April would be good. Have you read the messages and do you know the pick up point has been changed to P.E.I. Canada? 350 miles East-Northeast of Bangor, Maine? Do you have Insurance? I would be interested in a bid. Thank you , Jim. (3/9/2008)
Response: yes i carry insur, up to 50k cargo & it's free to u. i can't pick up or deliv outside the US, if my service is needed let me know so i can bid. thanks (3/9/2008)
Response: Could you tell me why you can't pick up in Canada? I was going to do it myself but had to turn around in Idaho for health reasons. Have you read the messages and explanation I wrote on what is needed to bring a Ultralight into the U.S. from Canada? I do have two bids for pick up in P.E.I., Canada. It is to expensive for me to fly to Canada and bring the plane to the Border for pick up. There is not enough value in the plane for all that. I have asked why to another bidder but haven't heard a answer yet. Could you please advise? Thanks, Jim (3/10/2008)
Question: how late can this be picked up? i have a good licence and birth certificate to cross, i would prefer anywhere on the us side to pick up but will cross if necessary i am thinking pick up between the 20th to 27th of march delevery 5 to 7 days after pick up, book it now price for U.S. pick up 3500.00 for canadian pick up? intrested? (3/9/2008)
Response: Hello mrk123, Yes I am interested. I missread your offer. $3500. for PEI Canada pick up and delivered to Salem Oregon will do just fine. Do you have insurance? If so, send me a bid and I will accept. Thank you. Sincerely, Jim Pries. (3/10/2008)
Response: i will place a bid but will have to move the dates around had some bids come in last nite. (3/10/2008)
Response: Thank you, your bid of 3500 includes Insurance and transporting my Ultralight from PEI Canada to Salem, Oregon on a flatbed trailer from 3/11//08 to 4/31/08. Is this correct? Thanks Jim. (3/10/2008)
Response: pick up would be anytime after march 20th and before april 26th and delevery would be 1st part of may, i cannot narrow down pick up date at this time, if i can get there sooner i will. (3/10/2008)
Response: Hi Mrk123, I have a question that one of the movers brought to my attention and I don't know if it is true but he seemed to think it was. He said that if a carriers insurance does not specificly say "AIRPLANES" it is not covered. My plane is only valued at 25 thousand but can you find out for me if there is a clause like that. I would hate to have something happen and not have insurance because of a loophole! He said he had to pay extra for them. Now, he also just hauls Helecopters but they are under the same category as airplanesand they are very expensive. This is the only reason I haven't accepted your bid. If you have a way of finding out can you let me know asap ? Thanks, Jim. (3/10/2008)
