Questions for this shipment:

Question: could you please clarify you shipping dimensions and give a weight. will it be bolted together? (1/10/2007)
Response: Tooling major parts are two, a hull mold, and a deck mold. The hull mold is approximately 12'6" wide, 33' long and 9' tall, estimated weight of 10000lbs. The deck mold is approximately 12' wide, 33' long, 6 tall, estimated weight of 6000 lbs. There are an additional 12 smaller molds of various sizes. An accurate list is currently being developed of all. (1/11/2007)
Question: FYI: in Florida anything over 12' wide requires an escort. (1/11/2007)
Response: Thanks for the information. the necessary route runs through Florida, Georgia, North and South Carolina, Virgina and Maryland. Would you happend to know if an escort is additionally needed with these? Depending on requirements for the escort vehicle. There's a possiblity of the shipper being able to provide the escort. (1/12/2007)
Question: To answer your question. An escort is needed in Florida and North Carolina. Escort must be Licensed, insured and certified. The escort should be included in your quote. Camille (1/12/2007)
Question: Can the deck mold fit inside the hull mold? If not by the measurements listed it will take 2 trucks to move these. Double stacked they are too tall and set end to end they are too long. Please correct me if I am wrong. (1/12/2007)
Response: The deck mold will not fit in, or on top of the hull mold. The hull mold support system is such that there's about 10' on either which is clear of the ground. Carefull loaded, it's probable the hull mold could be positioned so it overlaps the forward portion of the deck mold. The deck mold does not have much height in the forward two thirds of the mold, maybe 30" if that. (1/12/2007)
Question: have you moved this load yet? My concerns about trying to overlap the molds are will the smaller deck mold support the larger hull mold without doing damage to the mold. The roads between Fla. and Md. are very rough in places. I could do this in 2 shipments with 2 trucks and take the danger of damage to a minimum. For $6500 I can have 2 trucks on this on the 22nd on January if you are ready. (1/18/2007)
Response: No, the load has not moved. We need the very best price available, and will work with whoever, however to facilitate that. We've looked into trying to fit it all on one load, that appears to be impractical. One thought we've had is to load it, then move as most convenient to the trucker thereafter. (1/18/2007)
Question: We would be glad to work with you in any way possible to make this work for your company. I am a licensed and insured boat transporter specializing in oversize loads. (1/18/2007)
Question: I have a truck heading for MD no later than Monday. If you like I can take part of the load. Then schedule the other part on my return to fl. I have already bidded. Thank Camille lstrucking (1/19/2007)
Question: MY CALENDAR IF FILLING UP. DO YOU HAVE AN APPROX DATE. I NEED TO SCHEDULE SOME TRANSPORTS. ARE YOU LOOKING AT THE 12TH OR SOMETIME AFTER. I NEED TO KNOW TODAY. I HAVE 2 BOATS TO SCHEDULE. (1/30/2007)
