Questions for this shipment:

Question: I noticed your timeframe, but I was wondering if it was possible to ship this for you sometime this week? Im heading for IL within the next two or so days so it would work great for me if you could do that. If not, Im heading in that direction on the 23rd. Also, do you have a target price? Thanks. Michael Marquez, RPM Trans. (10/10/2006)
Response: Hi Michael - I totally messed up on the dates. Actually this week is best to make the pickup! The problem is I won't be home to accept the shipment except on Oct 12 before 1pm, and I'll be unavailable to accept shipment until Oct 23 or Oct 27-28. I updated the timeframe. I'm trying to think if there is somewhere else in Chicagoland I could have it dropped off until I can retrieve it. Here's the new timeframe description: "Pickup Oct 11, 12, or 16. Deliver before 1pm on Oct 12, or store until I can pick up Oct 27 or 28." (10/10/2006)
Question: That is actually a great timeframe. What is your target price? If I get an answer on that tonight, I will more than likely be able to do it for you all tomorrow. Michael Marquez, RPM Trans. (10/10/2006)
Response: I really have no idea. This is my first time shipping anything like this. (10/11/2006)
Question: Well, Ill my situation. I dont have any loads until the end of this month. So Im trying to put together a short trip for this week. I'm from Springfield, MO so I'm not so far away. To make it profitable for me, I will require atleast $250. I also offer full coverage insurance, which I'll give to you for an extra $50. So I can do this for you tomorrow for $300 if I manage to find something back here or around here. Does that sound good to you? (10/11/2006)
Response: Here's my situation: I'm doing a friend a favor by buying it off of him, and I thought I would be able to drive it home myself in the back of an Escape. I won't be able to do it. This week is a good time for him to have it picked up; otherwise it's going to be difficult to schedule time. However, I'm perfectly willing to wait until the end of the month if that will drop the price. The $300 sounds a little pricey. I need to sleep, I'll check in again in 6 hours. Thanks. (10/11/2006)
Question: To be honest with you, it is a little expensive. However, in the few minutes of silence between our questions/answers, I have found a good paying shipment in St. Louis to cover a good portion of our gas. If I can get these wonderful people to accept my bid, then I can lower the price a bit. Do you have any idea on how much you would like to spend. I also have a pick-up/deliery in St. Peters already, so I will be in the area tomorrow hopefully. Sleep on it and get back with a proposed price when you wake and we will go from there. Thanks for your time. Michael Marquez, RPM Trans. (10/11/2006)
Response: I just got a bid for $200, which seems more reasonable. I have a question open to the bidder about storage in Chicago. Please make a bid. Thanks. -Arek (10/11/2006)
Question: I was wondering if it is possible to lay this thing on its back or side? If it is, I can pick up on Monday(10-16)between 1pm and 4pm and store at my residence in St. Louis until I make delivery on Saturday(10-28)between 4pm and 6pm. These dates meet are the ones that you specified in the shipment details. I would need assistance loading and unloading at the Pick up and delivery points. I could do this for $175. Please let me know asap, beacause the 16th is just 4 days away. Thank You. STLtransport. (10/12/2006)
Response: Hi - I just figured out how to answer questions, sorry! I changed the dates available for pickup and delivery. Thanks! -arek (10/23/2006)
Question: Hello again. I just thought I would let you know that the bid I was counting on fell through. Im very sorry about this. I wish you the best of luck in shiping your Network Container. Thank you for your time and patience. Michael Marquez, RPM Trans. (10/13/2006)
Response: Hi Michael - thanks for letting me know. Good luck -Arek (10/17/2006)
Question: Hi. We will have a truck going through the St. Louis area late in the day (evening) on Monday & can pick up then. For the drop off we can work out the date when you know your schedule at the end of the month. We're based out of s. Wisconsin. Our truck is filling up, so please let me know ASAP if you're still in the market for this move. Thanks! RKM, Daylight Movers. (10/14/2006)
Response: That sounds great, but getting an answer to you quickly may be an issue - the people in STL are getting married today. They said they would be around during the day Monday, but I don't know if they will be there in the evening. Thanks! -Arek (10/14/2006)
Question: Arek, if it worked better we could pick up early Tuesday or we have a truck coming through again late Wednesday or early Thursday. Let me know and we will place a bid. Thanks. RMK, Daylight Movers. (10/14/2006)
Response: Hi - I just now figured out that you asked this question, sorry! I've updated the availabe dates for pickup and delivery -arek (10/23/2006)

Question: could pick up on 10/29 and deliver either 11/11, but more likely 11/18 when we do a residential move to chicago area. We are just 2 teachers based out of STL who were former professional movers while in college and do uship on weekends. we have a shipment going to Chi area either 11/11 or 11/18, but more likely 11/18. item would be stored in a locked weathertight trailer with shrink wrap and professional packing blankets at an acreage in country just on IL side of STL, very secure. In fact trailer is backed against building so no one can open door without moving trailer. Please let us know, so we can save you a spot on trailer. Thanks, tooldad. (10/22/2006)
Response: Sorry, I just figured out how to view and answer questions! I've updated the delivery and pickup dates. The dates you have look like they'll work! Thanks! -arek (10/23/2006)
