  • Description: The teletype itself sits on top of the original stand. The outer case of the top unit is no less than 16" high X 17" deep X 17" wide. Note: the teletype unit has an outer case that doesn't necessarily attach solidly to the typing mechanism inside. To insure safe shipping, I've seen where these two parts get crated separately. Assuming that, the inside typing mechanism would be about 2" less all around than that outer case. Approx weight of the total top unit; 100-125 pounds.

Response: Here's response from seller: Next week or Friday 2/13 will be fine. I'm a radio engineer by trade so barring an Off Air emergency, I can meet the shipper at home. I'm never more than an hour away from Ladd. Just to be sure, the shipper will do the actual crating/packing correct? Your check arrived yesterday btw, and all is okay. Thanks again. Response: To be sure we are clear We do not provide a crate for shipping items we are a blanket wrap moving and delivery company and we will use/provide moving pads ie blankets and straps to scure items in trailer for transporting but will not have crating/pallet availble at pickup.
