Question: Good morning. I will be completing my current run north shortly and am looking to book now for pickups starting the weekend of the 24th, hoping to get a quick turnaround load for a return trip south, with ultimate deliveries expected by the following weekend, perhaps sooner, depending on the items destination. If, by chance, this timeframe would fit your needs on this, and there would be at least some assist with loading and off loading, if needed, I could get this delivered for you for 350.00 cash on delivery/300 if paid at pickup via payPal, etc. Please let me know either way as soon as you're able so I will know whether to add this to my run or focus my efforts elsewhere. Thank you, Howard. Please review my profile and feedback, as you should with any bidder you may consider. Also note that I have not yet submitted the formal bid, but will await your reply before doing so. Again, Thank You. (5/16/2008)

Response: This might work -- I'm very flexible in the timing -- not urgent at all. There is no help with loading in Hawthorne, NJ as the owner is quite elderly. However, the cabinet is only 40" wide X 63" high (top piece, around 16"-18" comes off)and 13.5" deep. There are about 22 little drawers in the bottom section that come out and make the piece quite light. (they should be numbered, in pencil underneath if they are removed). I can assist with unloading in Alexandria and possibly meet at a terminal or other mutually convenient location nearby vicinity I-95 or Route 1 or 301. I can do PayPal at pickup if that is a uShip provision but was hoping for around $250/less. Were you able to see the pic of the cabinet at the link? (5/16/2008)

Response: Talk about a quick response! THAT in itself, deserves special consideration...you have no idea how many list a shippment then seemlingy ignore it. According to your dims and estimated weight, i doubt i'll need any assist in loading it. I use blue painters tape to secure drawers as it leaves very little, if any, residue on the finish. If you're willing to pay via PayPal at pickup i can do this for 250. Let me know and if this works for you, I'll submit the formal bid. But please be aware, my bids are "short-lived". I treat bids as promises and don't make them randomly like some do. Thanks, howard. (5/16/2008)

Response: Howard,
This is my first time using uShip. What do you mean by "The deposit is entirely separate from what you would pay me, so paying me through paypal isn't a problem"? I'm not aware of a deposit. Is there a refundable/unrefundable deposit in addition to the bid that I accept? Sorry for my confusion. (5/16/2008)

Response: If I try to explain here on this page, someone, with nothing better to do, will come along and flag me and i'll get my account suspended...again. Lets just say that with a bid of 250, I would only get abour 220.00. I can submit the bid at 250, when, if, you accept it, I can then call you(as our contact info becomes available) and explain a bit further. I'll sumbit the bid now, and stand by for you acceptance, if you're so inclined to do so. thanks, Howard. (5/16/2008)

Question: Hello, we will have a truck coming through your area between May 25-28th. If you can schedule your pickup and delivery between these dats, we will be able to make this shipment for $140. Please let me know if you are interested so I can give your more information. (5/20/2008)

Response: I'm interested if you can place bid right away -- those dates should work for seller/me. I have another bid I'm seriously considering that expires at noon today so I need to view your bid before that. Also, what kind of time window can you garauntee, i.e. you'll show up between 8am - 12 noon? (5/21/2008)

Response: sorry but our shipment was cancelled, so we will not be able to make this move. (5/21/2008)
