Additional Information:
This is at my brothers place in Livingston, Texas. I need to get it moved to my 50 acre property which is approximately 20 miles SW of Rocksprings, Texas. The last nine miles is off the blacktop but the roads are fair to good condition. There are a couple of dry creek run offs that drop down and back up. I have no problem with bottoming out when pulling my 16' trailer, but a low boy could. The best days for delivery are Thursday or Friday, as those are my days off work.
Questions for this shipment:
Question:
we could haul it for about 850.00 would this work for you but we do have a lowboy (10/25/2008)
Response:
That's a tough question to answer, because if you are not able to cross the low crossings I will have to unload and drive the dozer the rest of the way. Have you had any experience crossing these kind of low crossings before? Maybe you could give me some details about what the lowboy is capable of transitioning. (10/25/2008)
Response:
well we live in texas and we use it to haul are farm equipment and take into fields and all are roads are dirt and get washed out alot and we never had any problems so i think we would be fine i hope i answered your question thank you (10/26/2008)
Response:
If I were to accept your bid, would you be able to meet me in Rocksprings at 11:00 am or sooner on a Thursday? My place is in a hunting community that does not allow traveling on the roads before 9:30 am and after 3:00 pm. Also, there are a couple of small items that i forgot to mention. Hand pump for transferring diesel, small can of hydraulic oil and a tank that mounts in the back of a pickup for diesel. Will these be covered by the $850? And is the $850 your charge in addition to the uship charge? Please place a bid if this is your offer. Thank you. (10/26/2008)
Response:
950.00 that includes all i will bid (10/27/2008)
Response:
Did the bid go up because I added a few small items? If so, I will have my brother bring them and will accept your offer of $850 as long as we can plan this for delivery on November 6th, meeting in Rocksprings at 11:00 am. You will need to place a bid on uship also. It cannot be consummated through questions and answers. Thanks, (10/27/2008)
Question:
Are you sure about the 11' height? Thanks. Keith (12/9/2008)
Response:
No sir. It was a guesstimate. It is probably shorter than 11 feet. Thanks, (12/10/2008)
Question:
Would a Dodge dually 4x4 with a 33' gooseneck make it on your road? (12/10/2008)
Response:
Yes sir. There is one hill to go up that is approximately 100 yards long at a pretty steep grade. Would you be able to make it? It's a dirt road. (12/10/2008)
Response:
Just a few more ?'s please. Can you verify Height and Width as these are very important. Hill should not be a problem unless its wet. I have 4x4 with 6 speed and low range if I need it. Thank you, Keith. (12/11/2008)
Response:
The maximum width is 80 inches and the height is 10 feet! (12/12/2008)
Response:
OK, I can pickup Monday morning or next Friday or Saturday. Thanks, Keith (12/12/2008)
Response:
Can you deliver on January 15th or 16th? Thursday and Friday are my days off during the week and I have scheduling conflicts prior to these dates. Thanks, (12/13/2008)
Response:
If you mean this Monday the 15th, yes. I can load early Monday morning and deliver later that same day unless there are loading issues. If it runs and can drive up ramps, no problem. We have many years experience with heavy equipment. My Grandfather owned a large construction company. I must know asap to schedule this. Thanks, Keith (12/13/2008)
Response:
No (12/14/2008)
Question:
Sorry, i didnt see the January part. Any way we can do this sooner? (12/13/2008)
Response:
I wish I could, but I will not have any time to run out there before January 15th. (12/14/2008)
Question:
was wondering if you would like to move it befor 15or16 as i not that far from you any weekend or week day would be find with me, you can look at my profile and see what i have done and what i have to haul with and can beat the other prices you;ve got already thank you (12/14/2008)
Response:
I wish I could, but I do not have the time to run out there before January 15th. (12/14/2008)
Question:
Thursday is fine but I can do sooner if arrangements can be made. (12/14/2008)
Response:
Let's just plan on delivery for January 15th and you can pick it up the day of or before delivery. if this will work for you, let me know. I need a commitment that I can plan on since it involves a trip for me as well. I will meet you in Rocksprings and you can follow me to the ranch. Can you be in Rocksprings by 11:00 am? (12/14/2008)
Response:
Delivery depends on how early someone can meet me to load. The earlier the better. I will try and load and be on the way as early as possible. Thanks, Keith. (12/14/2008)
Response:
The dozer is at my brother's home. He will be happy to load at whatever time you want to set up. If it makes it easier for you, we can meet at 5:00 PM on Thursday instead of 11:00 AM. The reason for these times is because we drive by several properties on the way to mine, and we have a standing rule that you only drive the roads from 9:30 to 3:00 or after 6:00 PM. So what time would you like to pick up the dozer? (12/15/2008)
