Additional Information: A 14ft wide x 47ft long x 16ft tall houseboat weighing 21,600lbs is to be trucked from Cape Coral, FL to Page, AZ. The actual drop will be at Wahweap Marina, Lake Powell, 10 minutes west of Page on US Hwy 89.

Will shipping the boat include shrink wrapping it or is that an extra cost? Will the trailer be able to ramp retrieve and launch the boat or do special crane services need to be present at both marinas?

I do not yet own this boat and I am trying to find out how much it will cost to have it shipped before I make a serious purchase offer.

Questions for this shipment:

Question: What is the actual height from center of keel to top of boat, can anything be taken off top to make height less.....Thanks...Connie & Monroe (8/17/2006)
Response: I do not know the height you ask about but information such as this maybe found at the Gibson web site. I do not believe anything more can be removed from the top of the boat as you view the pic I posted. I do not yet own this boat. I would like to buy it but I have no idea how much it costs to get it moved to AZ. I am trying to find out about shipping costs before I make a serious offer on the boat. (8/17/2006)
Question: wE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF RESEARCHING ROUTING,PERMITS,ETC.ETC...i'LL HAVE YOU A BID BY THE 20TH, ALTHOUGH YOU WILL FIND IT WILL BE QUITE EXPENSIVE. wE HAVE BEEN TRANSPORTING BOATS AND YACHTS FOR OVER 40 YEARS NATIONWIDE PLUS aLASKA AND TO PUERTO PANASSCO,MEXICO. We are a man and wife business and have been for over fourty years. We have our own Motor Carrier authority as well as DOT certification. This transport will most likely involve a rear escort, and a front height pole escort. We furnish all escorts, permits shrink wrap all windows and ammenities. The load lift, and the unload lift will be additional. As I've said earlier I will have to research everything before submitting bid....THANKS...CONNIE & MONROE (8/17/2006)
Response: Thanks for your time and research efforts. I understand that it will not be inexpensive. It will be what it needs to be. (8/17/2006)
Question: are you going to move this boat? (8/21/2006)
Response: We are not sure at this point as we have not yet been able to contact the seller nor the broker's agent. At this point I would venture to say the chances are that we will not move the boat. (8/22/2006)
