Questions for this shipment:

Question: Is each box 50 pounds and where is it being delivered to? (9/27/2007)
Response: Each box is about 50 pounds although that is just an estimate. The delivery must go to the American Museum of Natural History which is located just blocks from here at W. 79th and Columbus Ave. The pick up is at W 57 and 8th Ave., and you just go 22 blocks north to 79th Street for the delivery. (9/28/2007)
Question: are those the exact measurements or estimated? Could you measure so I can give you the best price? Thanks, Hiram (9/27/2007)
Response: I'll try and approximate the measurements on monday, if that's ok w/ you and let you know. Elaine Parker (9/28/2007)
Question: ARE THESE BOXES STACKABLE? ARE THEY IN PALLETS? PLEASE LET ME KNOW. THANKS. (9/28/2007)
Response: Boxes are not on pallets. They are stackable but will contain canvas tote bags that have collateral materials in them like a small book and some pamplets. They are gift bags to be given to the 220 conference attendees. (9/28/2007)
Response: CAN WE DO THIS TOMORROW OR WHEN DO YOU NEED IT? I WILL DO IT AT YOUR ESTIMATE BID.THANKS, STAR-XPRESS. (9/28/2007)
Response: We need this done on MOnday October 8th pick- up and then you have to store it in the truck or wherever till the next morning when you drop off these boxes at 7am. The Museum will not let us store the boxes overnight and there's not enough time to do a pick-up the morning of. The canvas bags that go into the boxes are not here yet for us to prepare for the conference. That's why there are definite perimeters; pick up 10/8, store overnight and deliver 10/9 at 7 am. I have to step out but can you call me or something later today? Also we'd like to meet w/ you to discuss everything. maybe we can set something up for next week? thanks, Elaine Parker. (9/28/2007)
Response: Thanks so much Elaine Parker for your time and information. I would like to meet you too so that we can arrange for the move. Could you kindly contact Uship for my contacts. The earlier the better. Waiting to hear from you. Star-Xpress. (9/28/2007)
Question: IS THERE A LOADING DOCK IN BOTH PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF LOCATIONS? DO WE HAVE STAIRS OR IS THERE A LIFT? (9/28/2007)
Response: You'd pick up at the Newsweek loading dock, right off the street on 8th Avenue btwn. W 57 and W. 58 th. The drop off is the American Museum of Natural History and you'd go to their loading dock, with an elevator and bring the boxes to the area in which they will be distributed. It's really a very uncomplicated process. (9/28/2007)
Response: ALL SET FOR THE MOVE. JUST LET LET US KNOW THE DATE. STAR-XPRESS. (9/28/2007)
Response: Can we arrange to speak on the phone and are you willing to set up a meeting w/ us so we are all ont he same page about this? thank you. Elaine Parker [phone number removed] (9/28/2007)
Response: Hello Elaine We can meet to discuss this move probably on Monday. We can afford to do the pick-up on early Tuesday and deliver the same day. (It's only 0.9 Miles away. We can handle this within no time. Thanks, Star-Xpress. When will the conference start? Please let me know. (9/28/2007)
Response: the problem is our loading dock may not be open early enough to let you have the shipment that's why we need it picked up the night before. i'm getting the loading dock hours now for the pick-up. stay tuned so we can discuss this when all info is in place. ok? (10/1/2007)
Response: Please let me know if we can have that option of picking up that early morning. I am trying to avoid the storage costs or you increase the amount to $1600 and I will take care of this. STAR-XPRESS. (10/3/2007)
Response: boxes have to be picked up the day before - there is no way we can avoid this. we are probably going w/ a shipper already from these bids. (10/3/2007)
Question: Can they be picked up the 9th and delivered the 9th? (9/28/2007)
Question: I can pick up oct 8th and drop off oct 9th at 7am at the museum for you,I can keep in our truck or we have a storage too, anyone that is good for you. (9/28/2007)
Response: Fine - can we discuss this further next week. I will get the exact measurements for you, we'd appreciate a meeting beforehand too. (9/28/2007)
Question: Hello, I can most likely do this for you, but my calculations are telling me I can only fit 52 - 56 boxes in a 53ft trailer. If I rent a moving trailer it will cost more the your target price. .I think I can get this done for you. I'll get back to you. (9/28/2007)
Question: How early and late can we pickup? what are the dimensions? (9/30/2007)
Question: How and when, are we meeting? Get my contact information from Uship and contact me (9/30/2007)
Question: Can we take a look at the shipment to see how many vehicles will be needed (10/2/2007)
Question: What are the special instructions on this one? Pick up on the 8th and deliver when? Thanks...Chad (10/3/2007)
Question: Am I reading the dimensions right? Each box is 4feet square? (10/3/2007)
