Questions for this shipment:

Question: can they be picked up on aug 16th? my roommate can take care of them in dallas until delivery time if they require no special attention. (8/4/2007)
Response: On second thought, my family lives in Aledo, TX (about 50 miles west of Dallas). Could you (or your roommate) deliver them straight from here to Aledo? You would not have to later transport them to Austin as I would be able to get them from Aledo to Austin on my own. (8/8/2007)
Response: aledo is no problem. do the plants come out of the tall vase looking planters? (8/12/2007)
Response: Sorry -- I answered this e-mail several days ago but an error on delivery was just sent back to me today. This is what I wrote -- They have to be transported in the planters and the planters will be in a box with padding around them. They are too tall to fit inside a car (perhaps they could fit in a large SUV). What type of vehicle/trailer will you be using? If we go with you, we need to know your bid and if you are committed to this today so we can have time to get them wrapped and boxed. (8/14/2007)
Response: i am driving a gmc yukon suv. it was pretty empty when i drove it up here from dallas and should be when i go back, but i really do not know. i am picking it up at logan at 10amish thursday. the only thing i can do is have someone email the bid between 10 and 1030 if i think there is enough room. i really do not see why there would not be. (8/14/2007)
Response: I have transported the largest plant in a Tahoe before (basically the same thing as a Yukon) by placing it behind the passenger seat with the back seat folded up. I do think the total volume of the other plants will fill most of the space in the cargo area of a Yukon. However, even if you do not think all the plants will fit for certain, please place your bid soon and then if all plants do not fit when you get here we can renegotiate at that time based on what amount gets left out.
