Bid placed 2/1/2012 9:27 PM CST
Expired on 2/3
Hi! Thanks for the bid offer. I will most likely be accepting the offer. Glad to see you have great reviews. I'm currently abroad and trying to coordinate this move from my friends house who has been watching him to my cousins in Indiana. I want to make sure I give them both the correct information.
Will we need to buy a kennel for him or can you provide one?
When can you pick him up and what is the expected delivery time. We are flexible. Just would like to give both parties the anticipated dates so it can go as smooth as possible.
Would next week sometime mid week be a good pickup date. Thanks for your help and look forward to hearing back.
We can pick him up either Friday or Saturday (this weekend< However, we will not be leaving Las Vegas until Monday morning, Feb 6th to head east. WE do have several stops along the way in AZ, NM, KS, TX, WI then onto IN.
We will be providing the crates for the trip, however we do ask that you provide the collar, leash,(the leash may be either a standard leash or an expandable leash that is made for his weight), and food for the trip. The reason for copies of the shot records is to protect both side. At the end of the trip, I will be giving the receing end the paper works, so that they may be able to get the dog license and also let the local vet know the shot history, Is your dalmatian a black and white? We used to have a liver and white dalmatian for many years. They are great dogs.
Thanks for the reply. Everything sounds about perfect. The papers are no problem and all his basic necessities of course will be going with him as well. I appreciate the followup. My response might be a bit delayed I'm living in the Philippines right now and on opposite time zones. Thats why I'm trying to get him to my families house in Indiana. I just need to confirm with Amy who has my dog that she is available this weekend. I think she typically works on weekends so that will be our only hurdle. If you like you can give her a call to confirm if you feel comfortable. If not I've just emailed her and will wait for a reply. If she is then that would be awesome to get him picked up this weekend and moving. Thanks so much for your help!!

U-ship does not allow any contact info to be given until AFTER a bid has been accepted. Then, they will give each party the other's contact info. I don't know if you can do it before you accpet a bid, or have to wait until after you accept a bid, but at some point you CAN "edit" all the contact info for BOTH pickup and delivery, to include name(s), 1 or 2 phone numbers, and complete street address for EACH location. Plus, as the "customer" with the "contract" with us, your name and phone number (YOURS!), along with YOUR e-mail address, will appear upon acceptance, as the "customer". Obviously, since you live in the Philipenes, we can't probably contact you by phone - all correspondance would then be by e-mail. Just coordinate everything quickly, and then accept the bid, so we have time to work out the details with the Los Angeles contact before we go down there to pick up your dog. Thanks.
Thanks! I just realized that after I sent the email. Thanks again for the followup. Everything is good on the receiving end. I sent my friend the money at the pickup location. She just informed me she has work on both Friday and Saturday. Just so I have an idea, what time on Saturday would you anticipate making it? All I need to do is coordinate someone to be there on Saturday for pickup and to hand the money over and we will be good. Sorry about the bit of confusion on my end. They were originally hoping to move him mid next week and this is my first time using a service like this, so its a lot of last minute planning, but can be done.
We can't do it this weekend. In fact, it looks like it'll be Wednesday before my wife can get down to So Cal, as our daughter MAY have her baby come early, and I'll be out of town Sun-Tues on a different (newly urgent) dog delivery. If the baby comes early, and my wife can't go, then I'll come down on Thurs to get Belvedere. So, it looks like it'll be either Wed or Thurs, now. I hope you understand.
Hey Cindi, Amy who is at the pickup address asked if there was a possibility to pickup really early on Saturday or really late on Friday? She works as a server and working a double shift on the weekend. If that is possible? As soon as i get the time fixed, I'll accept the bid and she will have the full payment at the pickup location. Thanks Cindi!
Reference our above answer - on Wed or Thurs, could the person possibly meet us somewhere on the EAST side of L.A.? The closer to I-210 and I-15, the better, but ANY distance closer to there will help, as it will need to be a "there and back home" in one day.
