Question: Good morning. Looks like you haven't gotten this handled yet. I'm headed to San Antonio for a pick - leaving on Monday or Tuesday. I'm near Cedar Rapids, IA. I can put the Scout on my wedge (19 foot Hodges bed - F-350 diesel)or on my trailer and transport it for you. Cost will be $850 and that includes me driving up to MN from central Iowa, loading your vehicle, paying the U-Ship fee, and delivery. I have no U-Ship feedback because quite frankly MOST - not all - of the people who post loads on U-Ship are ridiculous as to what they think they should pay for a move so I rarely take the time to even contact them. I do have over 1600 positives on eBay however. With your move you seem to be reasonable and I happen to have the load space available. Question: Hi again. I can do this for you but I can't provide cargo insurance for you. 1st off the car is a parts vehicle and no one will insure that without an appraisal so don't think they will and don't let someone tell you they will - they won't. And secondly Allstate - who I've been insured with for years with never a claim, decided they would no longer accept any risks for a vehicle unless it's my own. That includes a vehicle that I'm moving on my truck or car. You can call me if you'd like and we can discuss this but if we do this it'll still need to be processed through U-Ship as these guys are providing a service and need to get paid also. I'm not into circumventing their fees - I just wish they would allow us to communicate some way other than this. You can look me up in the book if you'd like and hope they don't get excited about it.
