Question: I will be heading to Fl.from Green Bay , I live close to Tampa, around the 23rd-24th of this month, would that be to late for you. I carry up to 50K insurance at no cost to you, I will have room on a open car carrier. Please look at my profile and read my feedback and any others that bid also, it's just like E-bay, you have to read the feedback, thanks, Wayne % Advance Mobile Marine (7/7/2008)

Response: Dear Sir,
That might be a little late, let me check with my son. IF you leave on the 24th, when would the vehicle arrive in tampa? I am new to this.
Bill (7/7/2008)

Response: I should be back home in Fl. 27th-28th, I live just north of Tampa, I would match the bid you have now $700.00 total, no hidden fee's, let me know and I'll post a bid if the dates will work, thanks, Wayne (7/7/2008)

Response: super. I may know tomorrow on the car.
Bill (7/7/2008)

Response: Hi Bill, I would like to pick it up on the 23rd or 24th, as we get closer to that date I will be able to give the exact date, Thanks, Wayne (7/7/2008)

Response: One other question, last year my sons 74 vw broke down outside of chattanooga. It is not driveable, do you make the run to wisconsin a lot? It would probably be easier to have it shipped here. the control arm broke away from the frame and the body is so rusted it cannot be welded back on.

Question: Bill, I forgot to tell you that I'm not a broker, I will be the only one to load and unload your VW and it will stay on my trailer untill it gets to it's new home. Please look at my profile, pic of my truck with a sleeper, I will be with your VW door to door, Thanks, Wayne, % Advance Mobile Marine (7/7/2008)

Response: Thanks wayne, this is, like I said all new to me. I do not know what it means to be a broker. A mechanic is going to work on the car tomorrow, I will talk to him and find out how long it is going to take. How do I find out about the price you charge?
Bill (7/7/2008)

Response: Hi Bill, my total charge would be $700.00, door to door, no hidden fees. A broker is a person or company that just puts loads together, they don't own or drive a truck, if you accept there bid, they will charge you and then they will find some one to haul it for less and that's how they make there money. The big draw back is, you have no idea who's hauling it, you can't check there feedback, only the feedback of the broker. Some times the car will be picked up then off loaded at a yard and sit and wait for a truck heading to the delivery location, this sometimes takes days to weeks. If you look at the brokers feedback they seem to have alot of cancellations where the car was not picked up on time and or delivered late. Most shippers like to work with the driver direct, it justs seems to work out better. Thanks, Wayne (7/7/2008)

Response: Wayne, One other question. How long can you wait to hear from me? Once I know when the car will get to Florida, and when exactly it will leave Oshkosh I will be able to make a decision.
Bill (7/7/2008)

Response: I should be back home around the 27th or the latest the 28th. I would like to know in a few days on your car, I have only 1 spot open on my trailer and I would like to lock down a deal for the return trip. I will only bid on 1 job at a time, some guys will bid on several and take the highest paying and the cancel out on the others, to me that's not really fair, so if I bid on your VW, I would hold that spot open untill the bid expires. Just let me know if I can help, Please go to my profile and there is a web site listed that will take you to the DOT site and you can enter my DOT # and view my company history with DOT, driving history-etc., Thanks, Wayne (7/7/2008)

Response: I WILL HOPEFULLY KNOW TONITE (7/8/2008)

Response: About trips to wisc., this is the 1st trip that far north, I deliver boats 90% of the time in the state of Fl. & Ga. I just had a real good customer, a local marina that I do a lot of hauling for call me for this trip, they didn't trust anyone else with this boat. It appears that it is a high profile customer that they wanted to make sure the boat got there on time. On the other VW, you could post it here and see what prices you get. If your son lives in FL., it might be cheaper to have it hauled to FL. There seems to be alot more trucks going into FL. then Wisc. (7/8/2008)

Response: Hello,
How do I go about signing up with you? (7/8/2008)

Response: Hi Bill, thanks for the e-mail. I will go ahead and put in a bid for the $700.00 and you just click on "accept" and then you will use your credit card for the deposit, U-ship will handle that for you and then you'll get a page that will have my ph. #'s, both home & cell and my address. You can call my home # up untill 11pm, Fl. time, I'm up till 11pm all the time. Thanks again, Wayne (7/8/2008)

Response: got it (7/8/2008)
