Additional Information: 7 commercial sewing machines. Need quote for packing and shipping. Each machine is on mounted on a 4 foot x 2 foot table and weighs approximately 150 lbs. Report a Violation

Questions for this shipment: 

Question: If you have access to the machines I would recommend removing the machines from the table, putting the table upside down on a pallet and putting the machine on top then shrink wrap to the pallet. This will save quite a bit of money on this shipment. If that is possible I wil be happy to bid on this as a common carrier shipment rather than air ride service. Response: Our problem is that this is being shipped from a location that we no longer have employees at. As a result, we don't have anyone available to do the packing. If you have someone who can put it on pallets for us, I'm happy to ship it common carrier. Is that something you can arrange to do? Basically, we need full service packing and shipping for these 7 machines. Thanks. (4/12/2006)

Question: How are the machines fastened to the tables? Are they stable enough to just be loaded, then coved with heavy moving blankets and strapped in place?
