Additional Information:
have no pics on computer 3 very small dogs, 2 small dogs and one large dog, I have no idea on size of crates, have 2 myself. 2 sets of 2 dogs really enjoy being crated together. These babies are housepets, non aggressive, never bit a person. They are not fond of riding in the car so this may be the best way for me to move them to their new home.
Questions for this shipment:
Question:
How large is the 'large' dog? I have crates for the small and very small dogs and if some of them can be 'roomies', I can take all 6 for this short day trip. What mode of transportation are you looking for when you say they are not fond of riding in the car? (12/20/2007)
Response:
The large dog weighs approx 60-70 lbs I have a small crate for the jack russell and a large crate that can be shared by the retrievers, they are sisters and are always togeter. Also the pug mixes are sisters and very close and could share a medium crate (which I do not have). The large dog "Candi" would probably need something above just large for a comfortable ride. These dogs are not your average dogs that enjoy travel in an automobile. So I know they will be a little nervous. But I also intend to ask my vet for a mild sedative to keep them comfortable. As far as your question mode of transportation...I just know these are not dogs that will sit in a car and enjoy the ride, so I am looking for a vehicle that could hold their crates. If you also may know of someone that might have a moving truck or would like to drive one, I am seeking some help due to severe back injury on my part. Thank you for your response. (12/20/2007)
Question:
I am headed south to Ocala area on 12/30 or 12/31. Do you have all of the crates? (12/21/2007)
Response:
Unfortunately I can not move until the specified date. I will not close untilfirst week of Febr. 2008. And I do not want to put stuff in storage there and have no where to send my dogs, so timing is everything for me. (12/21/2007)
Question:
Hi, I may be able to help you out. I live in Lexington NC and have pet transport experience and am also a pet owner (check my feedback.) I have one large pet porter (it's big enough for me to get in I'm 5'9'') and one small one big enough for say a....2mo. old Golden pup. I also have a 15ft and a 24ft box truck if your still locking for some one to help you out with the move. Final details would dictate the price. Just let me know. Thanks, Craig (12/21/2007)
Response:
Hi Thanks for your response. I made a mistake when I listed Ocala for the dog transport. The location is actually Silver Springs FL as I listed in my household goods move. I myself have 2 crates, one that will hold my jack russell, and one that my mini retrievers will share. So I believe cratewise we are ok. If I could move dogs and household goods together that would be helpful. I am trying to make the move in one day, so that I will be at the property at the same time when my babies will arrive. If you need more info. feel free to ask. Thank you. (12/21/2007)
Response:
I think I could transport your pets and houeshold goods at the same time but here's what I need to know. What is the mileage to Silver Springs from your home? What are you moving as far as household goods? (do you have a listing # Etc. that is on Uship already so I can get a idea of what you are moving?) I'll be away from the comp. until early tomorrow morning. I will respond then. Thanks, Craig (12/21/2007)
Response:
Hi Craig According to the Google driving directions map it is approx 525 miles, luckily mostly highway driving. Householdgoods include boxes that have most all personal property packed inside, 2 wardrobe boxes, furniture (couch, chair and 3 small tables), 2 queen beds 1 metal with boxspring and matress the other wood head and footboard with frame, tv's (no larger than 27") dinette set with small hutch. And as of now not sure if I will bring my washer/dryer stackable unit. Hope this info. helps you. (12/21/2007)
Question:
Okay...Sorry, I found your other listing for your house hold move. I can give you a price on it all if you'd like. Just one more question. How much back labor would be involved for me as far as loading and unloading you household goods? Would I need to bring a helper? Thanks again, craig (12/21/2007)
Response:
I guess the other email answered all your questions I hope. (12/21/2007)
