Questions for this shipment:

Question: Hello just wanted to let you know if you have a tow bar set up or could get one I could pull it behind my suv. Let me know. THX (12/28/2007)
Response: Oh I know you had sent a message saying that you do not do cars...just wanted to know what made you change your mind? We could get a tow bar from UHaul, if that is an option. -Bridgett (12/30/2007)
Response: Well I was thinking that if I didnt have a boat I could take your car. What would be your price range on that? I would have to know soon as I;m working on a boat right now. Let me know. THX (12/30/2007)
Response: I placed an ad for $1000, if you shipped the car on a tow bar how would we go about insurance just in case stuff happens? -Bridgett (12/31/2007)
Response: I have cargo Ins. that would cover your car. Please check my profile. THX (12/31/2007)
Response: I was just asking b/c I know you said your company only ships boats and animals...so that is why I asked about the car! Oh I had one more question: If we decided for you to ship the car, then would we have 100% confirmation that you could ship it for us-I know you said that if you did not have a boat to ship you could ship the car...that's why I ask! -Bridgett (1/3/2008)
Response: Bridgett This is Jeff and Candy is taking some time off so I am In my trk and could pull your car and transport your pets for you. Just need to know price that you would be able to handle. Lets start at 1500.00 for all and that will include the car dolly. Ley me know. Thanks (1/28/2008)
Response: I thought the Malibu could not be towed, it is 3900lbs...he said it was overweight...has that changed because that would be great if it has...you said that includes the car dolly...would you be getting it or would I? Would $1500 cover it all for you? Can that be put in a contract? And are the dates I posted before good for you? The price sounds great as long as that would be the final price...no strings attached? -Bridgett (1/28/2008)
Response: Bridgett Candy wont be doing it with the durango I will be doing it with my pu. I will make sure that I am here for the dates planned. Thanks (1/28/2008)
Response: Ok let me ask some questions since they seemed to be not getting answered, just some things I wanna be certain of: 1. Will there be a contract stating the final costs of everything? 2. Do I need to update my UShip posting to include the car for you? 3. Is it still gonna be ok to do half and half payment? 4. Would there be any additional things you need from me for the animals or the car? 5. Do I need to get the car dolly for you, or are you going to get it and add it to the cost? It would be really great to have these questions answered, me and my husband were both very curious about them, so if you could answer them it would be great! Thank you! -Bridgett (1/29/2008)
Response: Im sorry Bridgett, Yes there will be a contract thru the site. Once u accept the bid that will be binding. If you want you can add the pets to the car and then I will place one bid. The dolly I will split the cost of that with you. I will get in touch with Uhaul and let you know the price of that. (1/29/2008)
Response: I will be accepting the bid for $1500 the middle of Feb...and that is a for sure thing! Me and my husband talked about...you say that when we accept the bid it will be binding, I have never used UShip before so I guess we will find out... When we split the cost of the dolly, is that part of the contract or something on the side? I was looking at the UHaul website...the car dollys go for around $300 dollars, and the car trailers go for around $600....what kind of truck do you have, b/c it has certain rules about how much weight and stuff like that...they also say they have to inspect the vehicle and towing vehicle. If you wanted we have a UHaul place right down the street from where we live, not more than a mile or two...if that would be better, just let me know! -Bridgett (1/29/2008)
Response: Ok Bridgett Yes the car dolly will be something between u and I. My trk is a Dodge 1500 with the Hemi and a 9000 lb tow rating More then enough to pull your car. I will submit my bid then around the 15th when I line a few more items. Is that ok? Thanks and look forward to meeting u and ur husband. (1/30/2008)
Response: Ok we are ready for you to bid again. I know there was one time you said the cost of the car dolly was going to be part of the price,$1500, and then you said that we would do it between us...I am not sure which one it is now? Oh and the question about the animals crates was never answered: we have two crates to you need us to get two or three more, or do you already have extra crates??? Ok please answer those for me, that would be great and we look forward to meeting you in the near future! -Bridgett (2/15/2008)
Question: What kind of car are you shipping? Just want to know for the weight on towing. Thanks (12/31/2007)
Response: 1998 Chevy Malibu, not sure on the weight? Looking to ship it for around $900...how does that sound...and if it sounds good, do you need me to post it for you to bid on? I already placed an ad for $1000, you could bid on that one if you want...I am not happy with the other shipper that put a bid on it...had really bad comments! Hope to hear from you soon. -Bridgett (12/31/2007)
Response: Bridgett, This is Jeff, Candys partner could you look at the data plate that should be on the inside door and tell me the wieght of the car. My guess is about 3900 lbs. Plz let me know asap. Thanks... (12/31/2007)
Response: I will get that information and get back to you tomorrow with it! How much weight is too much for you? (1/3/2008)
Response: my guess is that it weighs around 3900 lbs. She can only do about 3000 lbs. Let me know the weight and lets see if its possible.Thanks... (1/3/2008)
Response: Yeah you were about right, the car is 3936 lbs....we will have to find someone else...but thank you for trying...we are still gonna take your bid on the animals thought we just have to wait for the right time in our budget to do it....we will be accepting it in Feb. with the option of "pay half now and then at drop-off", I also wanted to know- will there be a contract to state how everything will go? I just wanted to know...ok hope to hear back from you soon...-Bridgett (1/15/2008)
Response: OK JUST LET ME KNOW. THX (1/15/2008)
Response: We still want to use your services, can you rebid at the end of January...if you forget it is ok-I will submit a re-bid to you. Will we have a contract and final amount if we accept? We can make everything final by February...that would be perfect! -Bridgett (1/19/2008)
Response: Ok let me know. Do you know the dates this will be on. My son will be coming back from Iraq in April and I need to make sure all my loads are in line around his return. THX (1/19/2008)
Response: It has been a while since I heard from you, I was just wondering if the dates I sent you were ok? The lastest we can do for the pick up would be the 26th of March and the earliest for drop off would be the 20th of April...I can provide food and any other supplies they need if that is going to be a long time for you. I hope you are still interested, if so please let me know! -Bridgett (1/27/2008)
Response: Sure am I'll put my bid in tomorrow. THX (2/15/2008)
Response: Ok it has been a week, are you not interested anymore? I really need you to post a bid so I can accept it, I have things I need to plan and I can not do that till I know the time line for this pick up! Please post a bid or let me know you can not do it anymore...thanks! -Bridgett (2/22/2008)
Response: Bridget, What day can I Pick all this up? (2/22/2008)
Response: I thought you were going to place a bid? Candy sent me a message and said she could not do the shipment, what is going on..can you still do the shipment? The latest everything can be picked up is the 26th of March..Do you two talk to each other about shipments, I just need to make sure this is still going to go through, I do not need any last minute changes-please! Can you place the bid? -Bridgett (2/23/2008)
Response: Bridgett, I want to help you out and do this but I dont think I will be doing this much longer. I am headed out to Wa now and will be there with in a week and if you can ship now then we can make this happen. If not I know several guys that I can get in touch with to make this happen. I will make calls and see if we can get you moved. I know moving companies are $$$$. Jeff (2/23/2008)
Response: Candy, I take it from me not being answered that you are no longer interested in moving our animals for us, if this is true please let me know so I can delete these messages. Thanks! -Bridgett (2/28/2008)
Question: YOUR PICKUP AND DROPOFF IS VERY CONFUSING... THE TRIP TAKES LESS THAN A WEEK YET, THE PICKUP AND DROPOFF DATES ARE A MONTH APART...SOMEONE WOULD HAVE TO KEEP THE PET FOR 3 WEEKS??? (1/27/2008)
Response: Ok the last message I wrote I thought you were another carrier I was talking to before...they had no problem with the dates...with the military so many dates are up in the air so being prepared for inprocessing taking longer than normal is well normal and we have to adjust to it....if those dates I asked for are a problem then maybe my shippment is not one should be thinking about, but thank you about inquiring about it! -Bridgett (1/27/2008)
Response: good luck (1/28/2008)
Response: Thanks! (2/15/2008)
Question: Yes half and half payment will be fine. And if you have kennels that would be fine. And finally thier brand of food. I hope that I have answered all your questions. If not let me know and I will answer any question you have. Thanks (1/29/2008)
Response: I thank you very much for answering the questions...they were all answered! I only have a few kennels...do i need to buy some more? I guess that would be the only question...I will add the car to the animals.... (1/29/2008)
Question: Bridget This is Candy Jeff is the one who has been in contact with you on your shipment. Jeff is my partner and I just noticed he has'nt answered you. I cant do your shipment because the car would be to heavy for my suv. I asked Jeff to let you know whats going on with this and I'm sorry for any problems. I'm not sure if he can still do this or not I will try to find out. THX (2/22/2008)
Response: Candy can you still move my animals for me? I found someone to move the car, I just need to know if you can still do my move for me? I would really a appreciate it if you could, Thanks! -Bridgett (3/6/2008)
Response: Hello I am on the east coast right now. I dont think I could get there in time. I'm going to work on something and see if I can get over there to ship for you. I am so sorry for this. In the mean time send Tonda/Get-M-home a bid request and maybe they can do this for you. Let me know. Go under provider directory under pets she will be the first one great shippers. (3/7/2008)
Question: Do the pets still need a ride??? (3/4/2008)
Response: Did you ask the question because you were interested? Or did you just want to know? -Bridgett (3/5/2008)
Response: hi Bridget, I am interested, but I see that you have had some extremely cheap bids and none were accepted. I'm afraid the lowest we could move them for would be $850 (travel crates included in price)Please see our profile and feedback by clicking on the number next to our name. If these arrangements will work for you, we'd be happy to place a bid to Get-M-Home. We look forward to earning your business.~Tonda/Get-M-Home (3/5/2008)
Response: The reason those were not excepted was because one of the shippers backed out after three months of saying the shipment was good...and the other person only posted the bid for one day...$850 is way too much...I could do $650, but I have to move them at a reasonable price, sorry if that is too low for you..maybe we could work a deal or something later, Thanks! -Bridgett (3/6/2008)
Response: I'm sorry to hear that you were strung along for 3 months, thinking you had a deal, but in all fainess to that provider, you must accept their bid so you are booked and they can plan their routes accordingly. $850 really is the best we can offer,of that $750 will be used for fuel...3000 miles @ 15mpg=200 gallons @ average $3.75 =$750. Certainly, we will have other pets on board, They too have a point A & B that their fare must pay the fuel bill for. I realize $850 is a heck of alot to pay to transport pets (though, you do have 6 to move) so I broke down just the fuel part to give you an idea of the beginning cost's involved. Let me know if you'd like me to bid.~Tonda/Get-M-Home (3/6/2008)
Response: I would still like to keep this deal in mind, I am currently talking to the main provider that I was talking to before...she might be able to do the shipment for us. I am glad you broke down the numbers, but it still a bit too high for us. We are having to ship our secong vehicle too, and the price to ship the animals would be a third of what we are paying for that-sometimes it is hard to know what the military is going to do that is why I was unable to accept the other bids! Thanks again for your time and consideration! -Bridgett (3/7/2008)
Question: I am working on a shipment right now to get there. If I cant make it in time for pick up. I have family in the area that will help if needed. Like pick up for me and watch them till I can get there. If that is ok with you. I just really feel bad. I thought Jeff was going to work this out. I will get back to you tomoorow. Sorry again (3/7/2008)
Response: I had a question and answer session with the other shiping personel you talked about, their price is soooo high! They will not drop below $850, that is why I was hoping you could do it. If you could try to break down the time frame for me, b/c if we are going to let someone else watch them I would really like to know for how long and things like that. I am going to raise the price back up to our original deal, $600. So I guess the questions I need answered would be: 1.) When would you be able to get over here?-the latest that our animals can be picked up would be the 27th of March, we lave the 28th. 2.) If some one else watched them, how long would they have them till you arrived? How well would they take care of them?-Just would like to know b/c they are our kids, we love them alot! 3.) Would their be any extra cost if I accepted a bid-if you place it, for the animals being taken care of by someone else? Thanks again for trying to work this out for us! -Bridgett (3/7/2008)
