  • Shipment Details: 6 Wascomat Junior W75 double load washers. They each measure 41 3/4" tall 24" deep and 26" wide. The weight is an estimate as they are currently hooked up and bolted to the floor. I need a company to unhook, unbolt, wrap with packing blankets and deliver from a laundromat in Newark, NJ to a shop on the west side of Manhattan. Neither place has a loading dock so a power liftgate is Strongly reccommended.
  • Packaging: Need to be individually wrapped with packing blankets to avoid cosmetic damage.
  • Dimensions(s):They each measure 41 3/4" tall 24" deep and 26" wide. The weight is an estimate as they are currently hooked up and bolted to the floor.
  • Total Weight:250 lbs
  • Preferred Truck or Trailer:Liftgate Box truck under 12'7''
  • Special Permit Required:No
Additional Information: looking for someone who can unbolt, unhook hoses and electrical as well as move the units to a shop at Pier 40 in Manhattan. Nothing needs to be done with them after delivery. Report a Violation

Response: Hi, It needs to be done Monday 10/29 or Tuesday 10/30 at the latest. However, it could stay overnight on a truck and be delivered on 10/31 if necessary. Keith (10/24/2007)

Response: We moved the entire contents of a NJ laundromat 122 miles last month (please go to the section of my u-ship profile and view the "feedback left by me" to see the details of this move) We felt this was a fair price for such a move. We are a non-profit organization so a good price is important to us. Also, I see that cash is the only method of payment you accept? Does this mean you can't accept paypal? It would be nearly impossible for our accounting dept. to approve of large cash expenditure. So paypal would be a good compromise if you could consider it. Response: I can do $800 and I can be there to help as well. I will find out about the Cashier's check. Don't you have to be registered with Paypal to do uShip? Thats the way they made me pay the deposit last time. Then after the load was picked up but before it was delivered I paid the balance to the shipper with paypal.
