Question: We would be interested in doing this haul. We were wondering if we could be met at the Canadian border? Or do you need them taken all the way in. What are you wanting to pay for this? Please let us know. Thank you, Spice2lace (7/16/2008)

Response: Yes I am able to meet at the border. As far as price is concerned I am open for offers, not sure what the going rate is to haul livestock, what is your rate when you haul horses? Thanks Lane (7/16/2008)

Response: Our price would be $1.60 a mile or total $2464. This is based on meeting in Sweetgrass, MT. Dennis hauls sheep for the government and that is less than what they pay him. He has been hauling sheep for many years and is an experienced hauler. Let us know if this works for you and if so we will bid it. Thanks, Spice2lace (7/16/2008)

Question: Dennis was wondering what you are willing to pay for this haul. He will see if he can work with you. Thank you, Spice2lace (7/17/2008)

Response: I was trying to keep the cost to about $300 per ram if possible, but would be willing to move on that if need be. I am flexible with delivery time once I get the import papers which may allow you to arrange furhter transportation from the meeting place. Thanks again for you interest. (7/18/2008)

Response: Dennis said he could do the haul for $1800 to the Canadian border. Someone would need to meet him there to take on in to Canada. Let me know if this works and I will place the bid at that price. Thank you, Spice2lace (7/18/2008)

Response: I can meet at the border. thanks (7/19/2008)

Question: Dennis said he could go down to $1700 if that would help. If this works let me know and I will re-submit the bid. Once the bid is accepted we can provide excellent references. Also he could do the haul earlier (like next week) if paperwork could be ready. Let me know. Thank you, spice2lace (7/21/2008)

Response: Hello thanks, it would help as costs are rising on the other end with vet inspections, etc. I am still waiting on the paperwork, so I am not sure when they can come yet. Thanks again. (7/23/2008)

Response: Hi, Just wanted to touch base. I am going to rebid this at $1600. Dennis is headed that way anyway so he can go lower. He will need to leave around the 21-23rd. Will that work for you? Is the place in Montana we would meet be Sweetgrass? (8/2/2008)

Response: Hello, I hope to have everything ready for then but I am still waiting on confirmation of three of the ram lambs, hope to have that done soon. Thanks for being so patient, should be able to finalize everything soon. (8/3/2008)

Response: Me again...looks like Dennis will be ready to load the 20th or 21st. We can go down to $1200 if we can load those dates. Is that going to work for you? We need to know asap. If it works I will put in a new bid. Thanks, JJ (8/12/2008)

Response: Just got confirmation on sheep, will check with federal agency tomorrow morning on import certificate. It will depend on how long it takes to get approval and health certificate done in Arizona, should know tomorrow. (8/13/2008)

Response: Sounds good..I will place a new bid. Thanks. (8/13/2008)

Response: It looks like everything should be ready to go for Aug 21, how long will it take you to get to sweetgrass? If you place the new bid I will accept it right away, the exporter is looking for contact info for my transporter. thanks (8/13/2008)
