Response: Sounds great, but the auction starts at 10am and the lots of interest are #180, 216, and 332. So, it could be awhile. I've sent an email to the auction house to ask them turnaround times, pick-up times, etc. I suspect Sunday is too soon; Monday would be more likely. When do you plan on leaving the NY area on Sunday? Regarding price, I'm looking for something reasonable, considering the items (easy to move, etc.). Did you notice that there could be a sofa table and end table as well? Would you be able to handle any/all for 1 flat price? (8/17/2007)

Response: No. I likely won't know any more regarding a timeframe until midst of auction bidding. If I don't have any shipper bids for Monday-Friday pickup, and you won't be around past Sunday afternoon, I may not bid on the furniture. I need to be assured that the furniture can be picked up within 5 days, or I'll start getting charged storage fees. (8/18/2007)

Response: Yeah, thats such a tough situation. The only unfortunate thing is the fact that I have to be across the state in Buffalo by 10pm for a delivery of equiptment I transported from Las Vegas. It takes 7 hours from NYC to Buffalo exactly, so I would need to be on the road by 3. Only thing I could suggest would be for me to place a formal bid this evening, you accept, and we would then be able to exchange contact information because my internet access will be slim to none tomorrow. Response: I will haul your chairss wrapped in blankets on their sides in my pickup bed protected by a vinyl full length tonneau cover. I usually carry my suitcase there and have yet to have any water or dirt on it from travel. I will place a bid just to show you what total cost would be. Thx K. (8/20/2007)

Response: I don't have a problem with the 2-week delivery, provided you can adequately protect the shipment from damage and theft for the duration. What do you use to haul the goods? Weekend delivery is fine. What are the payment terms (upfront/at delivery/split)? Are you able to wrap/protect/keep dry my chairs (lots of rain recently)? Are you able to give phone calls upon successful pickup, again during enroute, and again when within 1 hour of delivery (to assure I'm home)? Do you happen to take pictures of condition upon pickup (for your protection and my ability to make claim against original seller)? (8/21/2007)

Response: No...in case you didn't notice, I'm new to uShip, and my questions have nothing to do with you personally. I, too, have an excellent reputation on eBay (100%), yet I give details on each listing to assure the other party of certain things. Since you don't offer insurance, and only accept cash payment, it's only reasonable for me to ask how you will transport my shipment. I'm simply a detail-oriented person, and want to minimize any misunderstandings that I've noticed being complained about elsewhere on this site.
