Question:
8/24/2012
where did you come up with your budget? The realistic cost in moving this hay would be in the $3400.00 range as I am assuming you want to ship it as a wide load and there are 6 wide load permits needed and the fuel and driver costs. We have 4 trucks and would love to move this for you but cant do it at your budget would you reconsider your rate? Thx Sancho Iron Horse Specialized Inc.Report a Violation
Response: no8/24/2012Report a Violation
Response: : Okay would love to help out but we cant run a truck for a dollar a mile and buy permits to boot wish u the best 8/24/2012Report a Violation

Hi Larry, I am interested in your hay loads however with the the cost of fuel and permits etc I would have to be at $3200 per load is this acceptable? thx Sancho Iron Horse Specialized IncReport a Violation
Response: hello sir permits are under $100 i would do $2800 max that is fair price larry9/3/2012Report a Violation
Response: : AB Have Annual SK $10.00 ND $40.00 SD $45.00 IA $35.00 MO $28.00 Comes out to $158.00 for permits Driver is 45 cents a mile Fuel is 95 cents a mile Insurance is 10 cents a mile Maintainance is 10 cents a mile which totals $2718.00 per load operating costs and my truck has to profit something i could do $3100.00 per load but thats the best i can do9/3/2012Report a Violation
Response: the only coast for permit is $20.00 for ND all the other states are excepted for hay hauling because of th drought that is 100% fact so $2800 is very fair and the loads going back to canada pay very well..9/3/2012Report a Violation
Response: : Well i would have to check on the exemption cause i know its only in a few states so your asking us to haul your hay for cost plus a hundred bucks? Do you run your business to break even or make a profit my friend? There is a reason thete is only one bid on this hay because the rate is not high enough sir, and loafs to Canada have dtop in rate by a dollar a mile in the last six months so they dont pay nearly what you might think they do9/3/2012Report a Violation
