Questions for this shipment:

Question: Can you tell me the weight of the heaviest single item, and the dimension of your largest item. See my profile, we have several options for the run. (12/26/2007)
Response: I have no idea, honestly. I'd say the biggest item is the bed, it is a double size bed with headboard, frame, etc... I also have a 3 cushion couch and a large futon (assembled) that are large and fairly heavy. That's about it, besides boxes. No appliances or other large or heavy objects. It could probably all fit into a 20'-24' straight truck with creative arranging. (12/26/2007)
Response: You confused me here on my end - Let me verify, the contents you have are presently all stored in a 10 x 10 x 5 Storage Unit, yet you saying "Creative" packing will fit in a 20' plus truck ? What am I missing or overlooking in review of your requirement? Why would it take twice the space to move ? (12/26/2007)
Response: Oh, sorry... I was just estimating quickly. It is all in a 5x10x10 storage unit, but it is packed pretty tight, so just thinking to load onto a truck, especially quickly (it took 3 days to load the unit originally) might take more room, esp to make sure nothing would get damaged in transit. And I just estimated, so yeah, probably a 20' truck might be a bit much, but it would prevent you from having to pile things. Sorry, I didn't mean to confuse you or anything. (12/26/2007)
Response: I have entered a very competitive price for your requirements. I want to call your attention to the short deadline for a decision, as I have another job pending here on U-Ship, that your job is now added onto in the same time frame. Thus the reason I extended the price I did. Hope we can earn your business. Please review our profile, we will be moving your items in our white 20' Tow Trailer. Also, please see our note on "Help" loading and unloading, as your description doesn't address it. Thanks Again for Considering H.W.E. for your move. (12/26/2007)
Question: ok i have idea to try to save you some cash if your willing to I have a 26ft enclosed gooseneck Cargo trailer as seen in my profile and truck but i need to drop it at a storage area for a 2day time frame and run UP to NY/CANA boarder about 5-7hrs north of yall to PU a ATV and bring it back to Trailer then south on the run Iam planing next 4-8days with items out of NY/NJ/OHIO PA will I be able to DROP legaly in THAT storage complete LIKE RV/BOAT storage unit or IS these just enclosed sm Household item/storage complex then if you like YOU can LOAD small items in front of trailer I wil load the lager item w dollys/once i get back and then TAKE it over to Albany to have both us unload it ONE day 1100.00 cash at delivery (12/26/2007)
Question: would this weekend work? i may have to make 2 trips. what hours is the storage place open? if allthis works i can meet your target price. (12/26/2007)
Response: I'd like to do this all in one trip if possible, sorry. (12/27/2007)
Question: I am only a few hours from Syracuse, and have moved a number of professors and local residents, so pickup and delivery is real feasible for me (pickup and delivery can take place the same day). My enclosed hauler is not a problem either, I have plenty of space for your furniture, 24 ft new hauler. I will supply a dolly, throw blankets for added protection, excellent customer service and guaranteed timeframe that you would like (hopefully not a snow day). Let me know, my price is $950. Thanks (12/26/2007)
Question: Hello. I have placed my bid, username MUZAMEA. I am a mover out of Rochester NY. This bid includes 2 guys, full loading/unloading and blanket wrap. Look forward to working with you sometime soon. muzamea (12/26/2007)
Response: Well, if you are in Rochester, this could be more helpful to me... See, I have items in my parents' house in Macedon, NY that would need to go to Albany as well, but the majority of the items are in the storage locker in Syracuse. If you could start at the house in Macedon, load some stuff, then go to Syracuse and load the rest of it and then make it to Albany and unload everything, that would be a GREAT help! Now, I already have an estimate from a Syracuse local mover for $800 to move the contents of the storage locker. If you could meet me on a price around there and help move the stuff from the house, I'd definitely go with you. Also, how would you move, a trailer or straight truck? I'm trying to think what would be easier to fit in the storage area. Also, it is raining today, so I'm wondering if it is a good day to move or not because I don't want my stuff getting wet. Also, how do you accept payment? Check, credit card, cash? Would you do a cash deal for less? Thx! (12/27/2007)
Response: Hello. I would have no problem loading stuff from Mendon then heading your way. I am using my 14ft box truck at the moment as my 26ft is being serviced, if I have to make two trips would that be a problem for you? If it isn't I will do it for $750 cash. Thanks. Muzamea. (12/27/2007)
Response: Well, are you making another load you mean before you come out this way? I know a 14' should be big enough anyways (a 20' or larger is pretty huge for just a 5x10 locker) but if it's already half full of stuff, would that leave enough room? When can you do this also? Will today work? I've been trying to get a hold of people to get it done by today since I don't really have any other times to do it. Let me know either way. You price sound perfect too. Thanks! Get in touch. (IDK if I'm not supposed to give out numbers over this thing or what? How am I supposed to get a hold of you to arrange stuff? lol...) (12/27/2007)
Response: Go ahead and accept my bid , then we can contact each other. If you try to give me your contact info through here they will delete your posting. I can get this done today, however will need to get on the road asap. Can you coordinate the Mendon pickup in a few hours? (12/27/2007)
Response: Sure. It's Macedon though, not Mendon. I thought you meant you had yet another pickup in Mendon for someone else before you came to get my shit. Sory for the confusion. Did you actually submit a bid though for this final arrangement? I'll approve that once I get it. Just send me a new one with the new total and everything and we can get moving. I'll just need to stop by the bank real quick this AM and then you can stop by anytime. Also, can you move a big screen TV without the original box safely? It's a 37" LCD and I can't find the damn box anywhere. I thought I had it. If you can't, I can try moving it in my car in the backseat to avoid damage. (12/27/2007)
Response: I placed my bid however the way uship works, it will ask for a deposit to them however you will still owe $750 cash at job completion if you understand what I mean. If it is an LCD or Plasma no problem, I will bring a roll of bubble wrap. (12/27/2007)
Question: Hi, let me know if you plan on accepting my bid today so I can get going, its 10:30 and I need to get on the road in an hour or so if we want to get this done today, especially with the pickup in Macedon. Thanks. Muzamea (12/27/2007)
Response: Yeah, I'm working on it. I didn't know I needed a deposit and a credit card and everything to accept it, so I'm working on that. In the meantime, I've been talking to my parents about it and making sure they approve, etc... (you know how mothers are) They wanted me to find out the name of the company and if you're insured and everything as well before they'll agree to do it. Sorry, I know I'm being a pain (or at least they are through me)... (12/27/2007)
Response: I dont know if I can tell you my company name over this as you would be able to contact me direct then from my website or phone book. Someone will report the question and I will get booted as well as my bid. Uship is strange is very strict in that regard. (12/27/2007)
Response: If I accept your bid can you tell me everything then? lol... jeez this site is stupid sometimes. (12/27/2007)
Question: I can pickup your items today, I am just north of Syracuse (near Watertown)-my price is $725. Let me know. Thanks (12/27/2007)
