Question: i can haul your classic car fitting your time frame, it will be shipped in a enclosed car hauler, rear trailer ramp is less than a foot from ground alowing for it to be pushed onto/off of trailer easily.. have shipped many classic cars and trucks. this can be done for your max of 600.00 thanks hbtrailerservices (2/1/2007)
Response: Sounds good. I will consider using your transport service when the time comes to haul the car and I may contact you within a couple weeks. (2/1/2007)
Question: HI. I will take the car to its destination for $525.00 I have help with loading and unloading the car. I also have 3 years in the transportation business. I can do this first thing Sat morning. Thanks! (2/2/2007)
Response: This Saturday morning will be too soon. The car will need to be hauled anytime after the last week of February. (2/2/2007)
Question: I can take the car to its destination on any weekend. I have a class A license and have been driving 53ft trailers for two years. Let me know. Thanks! (2/2/2007)
Response: Sounds good. I will keep your bid in consideration. Thanks (2/2/2007)
Question: We have $1million in insurance and do this type of thing each and every day. Our drivers have 3 points or less on their licenses and are professionals. Marcy Northrup (2/3/2007)
Response: Ok, what is your price? (2/4/2007)
Question: Hi. I work for AAA Cooper Trans. And have been driving 53Ft trailers for 3 years. I can do this job on any weekend for 500.00 I also have a class A liscense aka CDL. let me know thanks! (2/4/2007)
Response: Ok I will. I'm gonna let this posting run for a couple weeks to see what kind of bids I get. (2/4/2007)
Question: can this be done next week (2/5/2007)
Response: Next week would be too soon. Closing on new home in FL at the end of February - must be after that. (2/5/2007)
Question: i will work with your time frame and price will be .75 a mile = price (2/5/2007)
Response: .75 a mile one way or both ways? (2/5/2007)
Question: one way (2/5/2007)
Response: Ok sounds good. I"ll keep you guys in mind. (2/5/2007)
Question: do you have anything else that you need help moving (2/5/2007)
Response: Actually yes, I need to move some furniture and a few boxes to the same location, I was planning on doing that myself but maybe if i can get a good deal with a shipper on here maybe i will go that route and do both? Do you have some kind of enclosed trailer or truck to move furniture with? (2/5/2007)
Question: yes i have a 20 ft enclosed trailer what all do you have to move (2/5/2007)
Response: I have 1 bed, dining table, 5 chairs, computer desk, treadmill, 3 piece couch set, coffee table, two other small tables, weight bench, tv stand and about a dozen boxes. Plus the car is an 18 footer so that might be too much? Probably will be 2 trips. (2/5/2007)
Question: how wide is car (2/5/2007)
Response: Roughly 74 inches. Give or take an inch or two. (2/5/2007)
Question: i see 74 in it will be two trips i have two trucks and and trailers i will move everything for .75 a mile for each truck thanks joe (2/5/2007)
Response: Sounds good. Would you be using an open or enclosed trailer for the car? Either would be ok. I may be able to get the car running, but probably would not be able to drive onto trailer under it's own strength. Most likely it will need to be pushed or winched onto the trailer, or if you have a come-a-long that might work. Furniture must be in an enclosed trailer. Do you have insurance available? (2/5/2007)
Question: the car will be on a open trailer and it has a winch and the furniture will be enclosed and the ins i use is through uship in the tips and guides link i need to know how much ins you want to give a price (2/5/2007)
Response: There are a few other misc. items i forgot to include like a lawnmower, weedwacker, blower, edger. All of it should fit into a 20 foot trailer. I need about 5k insurance for the car and about 3k insurance for all the furniture and misc. goods. (2/5/2007)
Question: the ins just a guess but im sure that it will be 90.00 for everything that is just basic ins for fire theft or if im in a wreck damage such as scraches of things that may get wont be coverd that ins im not sure how much because ive never had to use it you can go to the link in tips and guides and see for your self how much and what is coverd (2/5/2007)
Response: Ok I"ll look that over. Thanks, Brian. [contact info request removed -- Once bid is accepted, both parties' contact info will be exchanged. -uShip] (2/5/2007)
Question: [email removed] (2/5/2007)
Response: I tried to email you over the last 2 days...came back undeliverable. (2/9/2007)
Question: i can ship your car and all of your furniture listed for 850.00 all in one shot!!! thanks hbtrailerservices (2/6/2007)
Response: Would both the car and furniture be in an enclosed trailer? Is that 850 with or w/o insurance? Would you be using one trailer for everything and is it long enough to fit everything? Thanks, Brian. (2/6/2007)
Question: yes enclosed trailer, 24ft clean, 850 total, i carry 500,000 ins. through state farm, are you still shipping the same car in the picture??? (2/6/2007)
Response: Yes the same car pictured still needs to be hauled. It's an 18 footer and roughly 74 inches wide. A little less than 5 feet high. The car must not be hauled with any heavy or sharp items near the glass area of the car. Does your trailer have a winch? She's pretty hard to push. I can probably get a couple guys to help push if needed. (2/6/2007)
Question: the only stuff that will be in the trailer will be yours, we would have to place everything not to close to the car. no winch but i am sure we can push it in with help, getting it out is easy i also have a classic (1955 ford f-100 all rat) (2/6/2007)
Response: All the furniture and misc. items are equivalent to a full one bedroom apartment, maybe a little more. Do you think all that stuff will fit into a 24 foot trailer with the 18 foot car in it? (2/7/2007)
Question: it should fit if stacked nice and neat (2/7/2007)
Response: I know your experienced doing this, but I think the only way to haul all this stuff at once in a 24 ft. trailer is to have some things thrown into and on top of car. I would rather not do that. I have a truck which I need to bring down also so I think the best option for me is to tow the furniture in a rented trailer down to FL with my truck. Right now I am looking at just needing the car hauled. (2/9/2007)
Question: Furniture is not part of this shipment, right??? If you can get it all in one shot..... go for it, but please let the rest of us know! Thanks. luckychucky (2/8/2007)
Response: I will probably haul furniture to FL myself at the same time as car so I can be there when car is delivered. Right now just the car itself needs to be hauled. I now have a target date of the first weekend of March, the 3rd or 4th for car to be picked up. (2/9/2007)
Question: Within my bid are the older vehicles I've hauled just in the last 2 months. Add '71 Citroen Mahari to that. I must ask how tight is the car? Do windows go up? Do doors, hood & trunk latch, etc.? My trailer is winch equiped so I coud probably get alone. Thanks for responding, I appreciate it! luckychucky (2/9/2007)
Response: Yes, all the above work just fine. Except you might have to run a strap over the hood and fenders as the front end is partially disassembled right now. I've got straps that's not a problem. Seats are out of the car I will be taking those seperately myself along with the front bumper, etc. Car rolls and steers just fine and tires will be filled up before hauling time. With a winch this should be a breeze. Can you pickup first weekend of March? (2/9/2007)
Question: March 5th is the next open date. luckychucky (2/10/2007)
Response: Ok Thanks. May get back with you. (2/13/2007)
Question: I am heading to Fla Tuesday Can bring the car with me. I live in ATL so pick up will be quick. Mike maf0147 (2/11/2007)
Response: Sorry too early (2/13/2007)
Question: DO YOU STILL NEED YOUR CAR HAULED ? (2/13/2007)
Response: Yes I need it hauled around the first weekend of March (3rd,4th,5th,6th) Must be one of those days let me know if you can do it and at what price and I will accept a bid by this weekend for whoever can do it on one of those days. Thanks (2/13/2007)
Question: Brian, I was able to open schedule for 3rd, 4th etc. Are we traveling together? Do you need help loading household? Thanks! luckychucky (2/14/2007)
Response: Sounds good. I will be driving my Jeep down right after the car is loaded up. I will be doing the household stuff myself at a later date. I am seriously considering your bid. Open trailer w/winch right? Thanks. (2/15/2007)
Question: Hi Brian , I am available that weekend I will rebid. Please accept bid as soon as possible if ineterested.Mike Maf0147 (2/14/2007)
Response: I will accept somebody's bid this weekend. Thanks. (2/15/2007)
Question: That is correct, Brian. Deck is 83"X 192" plus 24" dovetail,8000# winch. Thanks for replying. See ya soon! (2/16/2007)
Response: Do you have insurance available? (2/17/2007)
Question: How much do you want to insure it for? Will Need VIN! My insurer will not value this 'classic' so I have to do separate policy request. Takes about a day to approve. luckychucky (2/17/2007)
Response: [contact info request removed]I can send you the VIN. Would like to insure for 5k. Thanks. [NOTE: Once a bid is accepted, both parties' contact info will be exchanged. -uShip] (2/19/2007)
Question: Hi Brian, Looking to put this on the schedule this weekend let me mike MAF0147 (2/19/2007)
Response: What kind of trailer do you have? Does it have a winch and do you have insurance available? Thanks. (2/20/2007)
Question: I have a 18' and 32' trailer I have a manual winch which is no big deal.I have 100k in isureance. Mike (2/20/2007)
