Questions for this shipment:
Question:
This would be a new lane for us. We normally do long distance runs (West Coast to East/South East and back). I will re-bid accordingly. (7/3/2009)
Response:
OK (7/8/2009)
Question:
Will is be a power only move? (7/4/2009)
Response:
no you will nedd to supply at least 2 trailers at all times. 1 makeing the run and the other being loaded while the 1 is being delivered (7/6/2009)
Response:
Will the trailers have to be dock height or can we use the "hotshot" style of trailers? Are the bid per load or for the year? Will the load have to be dropped or will they be unloaded when we get there? Thanks, Laabs Transport. (7/6/2009)
Response:
Trailers will have to be dock height they will be loaded by forklift. the bid price is per load. We will live unload the trailer in about 45 min. on the north carolina end the trailer will take about 2 days to load. You are picking up at Bridgestone aircraft tire north america and as they sort and grade the tire casings they have to remove the rejected tires from the facility as per the FAA, it is not that it takes 2 days to load. It's that they have to load the trailer as they recieve the worn aircraft tires. As business picks up trailer per week may grow to 3 per week around december the trailer tend to drop off to 1 every 2 weeks but for the most part they stay consistant with one to two per week. Delivery time is not important if it takes 1 day or 1 week is ok. the one most important and very important detail is that there always be an empty trailer ready to be loaded at bridgestone because of FAA rules. (7/6/2009)
Question:
why cant i take my 53 ft dry van and pick up in NC deliver to FL and reload to detriot for you my friend????? make a good circle and give you a good price cod (7/5/2009)
Response:
Sorry but that will not work the load from north carolina is a twice a week load all year long. You will need to supply atleast 2 trailers so that while you are delivering the first trailer the second can be loaded. Also im am not 100 % sure when my detroit shipment will go and is only a 1 time shipment. The shipment from NC to Homestead is what i need to realy work on. Thanks (7/6/2009)
Question:
what is the average weight of a load thanks (7/6/2009)
Response:
30,000 TO 40,000 PER LOAD DEPENDING ON WEATHER THE TIRES IN THE LOAD ARE LARGE AND TAKE UP ALLOT OF SPACE OR IF THEY ARE SMALL AND TAKE LESS AREA PER TIRE THUS MORE WEIGHT PER QUBIC FT (7/6/2009)
Question:
When did you want to start this and when you say trailer are you talking about a flat bed or step and not a dry van. Thanks Vicky (7/6/2009)
Response:
Vicky i am talkin about a dry van. and depending on $$$ i would like to start asap (7/6/2009)
Response:
thanks (7/6/2009)
Question:
WHAT IS YOUR NAME? I AM VERY INTERSTED IN YOUR SHIPMENT. THANK YOU DARRYL CARGOMOTIONS (7/7/2009)
Response:
My name is Chris. Have you placed a bid yet? And you know i need 2 to 3 trailer at all time the laod will be shipped atleat 1 per week and when things pick up it will be 2 to 3 times per week. when a trailer is pulled another has to be put in it's spot, this is a must. The facility in NC can never be without a trailer to load. when the trailer get delivered to Homestead it will be live unloaded in about 45 min. (7/7/2009)
