Response: sounds good, but this is an import shipment from abroad and us customs wants to do an inspection and all that. the shipment has to go between bonded warehouses. is this something you are allowed to do? (10/21/2009)
Response: Unfortunately I wouldn't be able to do that for that price. Any idea on how long the inspection would take? (10/21/2009)
Response: i import regularly and i have not encountered a request about transhipping to yet another bonded warehouse for an inspection when it already is in a certified inspection site. since a 3rd party is concerned (customs) i have no idea how long it would take. (10/21/2009)

Response: 1 stop. the shipment wil be picked up in salson west warehouse. then delivered to Price warehouse (also in Los Angeles) for customs inspection. then, after clearing, it will be brought to my warehouse in Nampa, ID (10/21/2009)

Question: You are going to have a hard time getting a BONDED TRUCKER to do this for what you want to pay, because of the time involved in doing this, and going between two warehouses. Its usually Best to get a Bonded Warehouse or a Broker, get all your paper work,which this is all about,done because of the Detention/waiting time for a trucker to just wait around for a Custos agent to decide to get around to do this. I have done this before for an Agent out of Canada, and for this reason, I DECLINE. Thank YOU Mike. (10/21/2009)
