Questions for this shipment:

Question: I am based in WA and I am in NJ so I could drive to you but NY tolls are high for a truck. Could you deliver it locations outside the expensive tolls like bridges? I have no problem taking it to Bothell. (8/16/2007)
Response: Hi, thanks for pinging me. Unfortunately since I live in Manhattan I don't have a car, I don't know how i'd get it out to jersey. How much do you think the tolls would be? I live quite near the exit to the lincoln tunnel. --Wes (8/16/2007)
Response: I paid going to and from Long Island, $9 in my mini van to cross the bridge and other fees both ways. I paid for the G. WA bridge $24 in my truck. I been told that going South or down in I-95 even crossing the G. Washington bridge there are no fees. I just hate to charge you more that the tree is worth!! (8/16/2007)
Response: The tree has "sentimental" value if you can believe it. Shipping it at all is probably more than it's worth. If you are OK with coming into Manhattan I'd pay for the tolls. What would you charge? Are you heading back across the country anyway? (8/16/2007)
Response: I will do it for $100 plus tolls but you need to be flexible. I am not sure which way I will be going next. I had an accepted bid from early July to move a family from Toronto to Florida but the shipper wants me to go to Toronto with my big truck without a contract or deposit. I had trusted him & run my schedule base on this bid. I have several bids out the one that pays the true cost leads then I can bid on others like yours who are waiting. Read my references. (8/16/2007)
Response: Ok that sounds acceptable, so do you think it will end up being sub $150? Keep me posted on your availability. The only hard-date I have is that I have to put it on the truck before the end of October. :) Thanks --Wes (8/16/2007)
Response: I had to leave my Dodge van in storage in Watertown, NY last month because it would not fit the Penske 4-car trailer so I will be coming to NY soon again even if I leave south with the truck. It was frustrating to be in Seattle with a big truck so expensive to use. (8/16/2007)
Response: Sure, just keep me informed of your plans. like I said, my timing is pretty flexible. (8/17/2007)
Response: I am moving a family to Montreal from NY and then a trip to Florida in the way back I will take my truck to Seattle. (8/17/2007)
Response: Hey sorry for the delay in answering, what is the time frame on your trip? When would you be coming by NYC? (8/20/2007)
Response: I am leaving for Montreal on Wednesday morning, unloading thursday, then going to Floridam and coming back to NY to pick up my van. I should be in NY again by the end of the month. If you want a bid I will do that. (8/20/2007)
Response: That sounds great. I'm not sure how the bidding process works though. (8/20/2007)
Question: we are driving a van out to portland from NYC and have room. we will be leaving around september 15. would you do it for 100 now and 100 on delivery? (8/17/2007)
Response: Hi, I've already found someone who's going to do it. If he falls through, I will ping you again to see if you still have room. :) Thanks! --Wes (8/20/2007)
