Response: We are looking for a full service move including packing. Weight of approx. 25,000 lbs. Move date on 7-23-08 or 7-24-08. Might need temp. storage upon arrival. Trophies are out of the picture now.Still need long guns crated and shipped, not revolvers/pistols. I will transport ammo and the like. $15,500 will get this done. Is their any additional insurance available? cost per 1000 lbs? (6/24/2008)

Question: Thank you for your bid request, however we stopped running through Canada in 2002. Best of luck to you. Just a thought, as a fellow gun owner, you can ship firearms through the postal service if you declare what it is, and do a few things like take the firing pin out or something. It may be far less expensive for you to ship just the guns that way, US to US, than to get permits on all of them to go through Canada. You cannot ship ammo via USPS, but you can shoot that up and replace it in AK! Good luck with everything. (6/14/2008)
